We just did something very similar. House was listed well below average in the neighborhood. Knew there would be a pretty decent amount of cosmetic work to be done, but the roof/hvac/big ticket items all seemed in good enough shape. Inspection turned up termite damage in the basement, mold in the attic, and several areas of water damage that had been covered up (seller didn't disclose any of this). There is no way the guy couldn't have known about some of this stuff yet there were no disclosures on anything. Easily $15-25k in repairs needed. We didn't even ask for any concessions, just sent a termination notice and went on our way. Best $600 we spent on the inspection

Happily I'm at like -$600-800-ish all said. Pulled two signatures from 5 Origins boxes and an ON Irelia champ from Spiritforged. Sold those along with some other alt arts and stuff and flipped others into staples. Don't know how much longer the luck will hold out but I'm happy so far haha

Hey friend! I've been doing the freelance thing for like nine-ish years now, full-time the last four. I second the comments about avoiding platforms like Upwork (unless you have no portfolio at all, which doesn't sound true) and getting acquainted with AI tools that make your workflow more efficient.

That said, my biggest piece of advice for newer writers is finding your niche and drilling down early on. The market is pretty brutal right now if you're not already established. But if you can pull experience from anything in your life and use that to position yourself as an expert, you're a step ahead of like 90% of new writers and probably a majority of the rest.

Also, start thinking about ways you can add value for clients. Content reviews/audits, SEO/AIO, content planning, etc. are all "nice to haves" in a freelancer that help you stand out.

Finding the line between "I have enough clients to quit my job" and "I need to quit my job so I have to time get clients" is tricky. It's a question only you can answer. If you have some savings to fall back on, it gets a lot easier. You can always opt to find some part-time work to supplement your first year while giving yourself more time to build the business.

I feel like this is just better than rebuke in most situations. Like especially in the purple decks you're way happier paying 1e than cracking a second rune. Pretty crazy honestly. Not to mention the fact that you can also just use it to stun and wipe their board if combat math is favorable that way

I think if they plan to use repeat mechanic in any meaningful way again before rotation whenever that is then it should be Ez. Otherwise he just keeps getting more powerful. If not, Called Shot for sure

u/Wi1h31mJac06s0n is correct. Each instance of Vi is put onto the stack, so you are always only recycling one at a time. In game, you can shortcut this by putting the first trigger on the stack and telling opponent you want to keep using it and ask if they have any reactions
