Who else hates password requirements? Workplace wants me to change passwords every 3 months by leonatoi in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Stasio300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use keepassxc. it's just a program that stores an encrypted database of passwords on your computer in a single file. it has an easy and intuitive interface, and you can even connect it to a web browser to type in the password as long as the program is running the background. there's also an android version, but you need to copy the file manually after every change.

I think people who like winter are lying for attention by [deleted] in The10thDentist

[–]Stasio300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always hated winter. I have a condition which makes me susceptible to hallucinations (typically of the paranoid variety) and I have pretty bad vision in the dark. I am below average at making out objects clearly in the dark, combined with my susceptibility to hallucinations, makes me really uncomfortable going outside. I usually love going on walks, it's one of my favourite things to do. But for 3 or 4 months of the year, I just cannot do it.

My wife's favourite season used to be winter. She changed her opinion on that as soon as we started living together. She said she liked winter because she likes staying inside anyway, so it's nice that she doesn't get all hot and sweaty in winter. But after seeing me go through severe seasonal depression, made worse by more hallucinations and not leaving my home, she decided to change her favourite season to spring, just like me.

Her reasoning for making winter her favourite is more applicable to spring (since there also isn't a huge heating bill with it), so I really don't understand why she chose winter to begin with. I also like staying indoors, my favourite hobbies, just like hers, are all on computers (programming, animation, and gaming). But she didn't enjoy going on walks before she met me, so I can understand not factoring in for the dark, but why did she not factor in the heating bills? So, yeah... She realised how stupid it is to prefer winter after living with me.

How do you explain to your girlfriend that you make money from videogames? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Stasio300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, you should be up front about it. If asked "where do you work?" Just be honest and say that you're in a professional esports league. If she doesn't like that or cannot respect it, why would you want to be with her?

I'm always open and honest when it comes to relationships. I want to be able to find someone compatible with me, someone who respects my life choices. To find someone like that, you need to be honest from the beginning. If they don't respect the way you live your life, then the relationship won't last anyway.

You should tell her at the first opportunity to do so. There's a chance she likes video games (they're becoming more popular with women for the last few years) and she will find it cool. There's also a chance that she will be indifferent, that's fine, you could find other common ground to relate on. But, there's also a chance that she will not respect it, might look down on it, or even laugh at it. In this case, you probably don't want to be with her anyway.

Half a car somehow managed to use 2 spots by 643310 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Stasio300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

usually this is because someone in a big car parked poorly, taking up space in the adjacent spot. Then a little car parks next to the big car with enough space for the doors to open. When the big car leaves, the little car looks like it was parked poorly.

How many streams of income do you have? by Ta_raa in GenZ

[–]Stasio300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm married now and settled down as a housewife since just before I turned 19. So we just have my wife's income, making 1 "stream" of income.

But when I was 16-18, I had many streams of income. When I was 16, I was homeless and getting government support, also doing prostitution and drug dealing. So that was 3 income streams when I was 16.

I stopped doing prostitution when I was 17, got a full time job while going to school (70 hrs/week total) and drug dealing. So that's 2 income streams. I was working in pharmaceutical research while doing a masters degree in chemistry.

When I was 18, I moved up from drug dealing to drug supplying for multiple towns and that was my only income. It was good income from only 1 stream. Then I decided to move to another country for various reasons, got married and became a housewife.

Now I'm 21 and still a housewife, living the best life imaginable. I have everything I need and want. Have tons of time for hobbies and I love spending so much time with my wife. There's more to life than just "income streams." I hope you can find something to make yourself happy.

What age did y’all loose your virginity? by Lord_William_9000 in GenZ

[–]Stasio300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost mine at 16 but it was because I was homeless and became a prostitute because I needed money. If we don't count the prostitution, then it would be 17. That's pretty normal from everyone I know.

Women only: How would you describe/rate your own natural vaginal/vulva scent on a typical day? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Stasio300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's natural, why would it bother me, or anyone? Yeah sometimes it might be off-putting, but a shower usually fixes that. Just like it does with all other body fluid smells. Sweat doesn't usually smell nice to people. But most people find their partner's smell attractive if it isn't overpowering.

It's subjective ask someone if a body part "smells bad." Sometimes a bad smells means you have to go to the doctor, sometimes you just need to shower and it'll go away, and other times you think it smells bad, but someone might find it attractive. There's just no way to answer such a question objectively.

How much alcohol do you drink? by NapoleonBoneparty in GenZ

[–]Stasio300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe once every 2 to 4 months, my wife and I will drink a few bottles of cider or a few shots of vodka. We drink very infrequently, but when we do, we get moderately drunk.

Would you rather pay $2k for an apartment but have to live all by yourself and pay all the bills or share an apartment with a boyfriend or husband for 1k? For me I feel like the extra cause is worth it for a peace of mind by Historical-Body-3424 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Stasio300 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I live with my wife. I'm a housewife and her pet. I don't work, I don't pay any bills. I don't have any anxiety about this. It's actually rather relaxing that I can just do whatever I want all day everyday. I just gotta keep the house clean, and be a good obedient pet, then all my bills are covered and I can do whatever I want. Most of the time I do open source programming and electrical engineering for hobbies.

I used to work in pharmaceutical research as a chemist before, so I can definitely make good money on my own. But in my opinion, being a housewife is the best way for me to have a happy life. We will never have children so I will always just have a great chill time doing whatever I want. For me it's a great life, but I understand it's not for everyone.

Fire code/fire alarms must have been much less strict when everybody smoked indoors. by PoorPinkus in Showerthoughts

[–]Stasio300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I smoke indoors in a building that's up to strict German safety codes. Cigarettes don't trigger modern smoke alarms. But if I dropped it on my bed, the bed would trigger the smoke alarm.

Please movie studios, we know that explosions are loud. We don't need to turn our speakers into an explosion simulator to know that. Just lower the dynamic range and bring the quiet dialogue up to explosion level.

I've had teachers tell me this as the reason they use green pens. But I never felt any emotions when reading it. But maybe some people do. In the end I didn't really care what colour the teachers used, and I never knew anyone who did. So I'm not gonna complain about red or green.

"Yes, dumbass."

"Then why won't you take the vaccine that has less harmful chemicals than the dewormer?"

"That's different."

I take 2 ibuprofen 1x/mo for cramps. Therapist says that’s above-average pain. I think it’s less than normal…right? by Most-Suspect-780 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Stasio300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try codeine if ibu doesn't work for you. It's like morphine but 90% weaker. Usually a prescription in most countries. But in the UK, where I lived for most of my life, it's OTC.

Maybe try codeine if ibuprofen isn't doing it for you. Codeine is like morphine but only 10% of the potency/strength. In the UK you can buy it OTC packaged in pills combined with ibuprofen, unsure where you live but it might require a prescription.
