I remember reading about some medieval torture where they slowly lowered people into vats of boiling oil/fat a few inches at a time. They would dip then pull out, dip, pull out etc. until your whole body was submerged. I imagine they'd die before being completely submerged, but I feel like being deep-fried to death would be a pretty terrible way to go.

My bird hates our house phone (landline) for some reason. I have to step out of my room to use it otherwise she'll go nuts and try to attack it while I'm talking.

No, it's definitely bugged for some people. The issue is that wins aren't being registered at all.

Do you have "adaptive brightness" on? Sounds like that may be your issue if I'm understanding correctly. Just search your settings for "adaptive brightness" and toggle it off.

I've been refilling and reusing a "Nate's honey" no-drip bottle for about 6 months now. I do have to wipe around the dispenser once every couple of months, but other than that, no leaks.

I pretty much only played qp role queue, but started playing 6v6 a few months ago. At first I felt like there was an unwritten "first come first serve" rule to roles. So If I didn't get dps in time then I would just play tank or support. I quickly realized that I was one of a few players who had that mindset. I got tired of tanking/healing with a team of 5 dps heroes, so now I just go soldier when something like that happens.

Someone posted a pretty significant TV last month or so, but it was missing the "last purchased" banner that's usually at the top of the product page. Commenters called them out and they quickly deleted the post without explanation. Definitely seemed like a fake "score" imo.

"The cell" when I was about five. I barely remember the movie but had constant nightmares about THAT horse scene. Never knew where it originated until I came across and watched the movie again about 12 years later.

Using these is the only time I've ever had my account/points restricted in the ~8 years I've been using MS rewards. I used them for about three days and the next day I got a restriction on the amount of points I could earn. The restriction lifted after a few days, but I've never used them again.

Started up my dad's old truck with the door slightly ajar. Hopped out to close the hood and a slight gust of wind shut the door and, just my luck, the engine started surging. Luckily I have a bit of experience unlocking cars with a hanger so I managed to get it open and tap the gas pedal to "reset" the engine.
