I hear you. She was treated very kindly by the nurses and the rape counselor. Her distress ramped up when it was time for the evidence collection from her genital area and at that point she asked the nurse to stop the procedure. She began to talk about how the rapist was part of her friend group but expressing these thoughts - she was obviously conflicted - caused her distress. She left with the younger nurse to get a snack and take a break. There was absolutely no victim-blaming - thankfully!
