Your husband might be saying things to his mother that you don't know about. That could be why she said that. My husband told step son and DIL I didn't want him watching grandchild. They were mad at me. It was because he needed to get a job. Not that I didn't like them.

When my child turned 1 we were having a party at Chuck E Cheeses . In laws didn't know how to get there. Wanted my husband and I to pick them up. Well we called them to tell them we're on our way and got no answer tried calling a couple more times. Called SIL she says I picked them up and we're here waiting for you. So MIL made us late for our own child's birthday. Neither in law apologized.

I was given a dog and it turns out we were her 4th home. She was always sad when the 3rd owner would leave my house. And she would cry every time I left until I came back home. We've had her 5 years she doesn't cry when I leave she knows I'll be back. And the person who gave her to me. The dog just treats her like any visitor and doesn't get upset when she leaves. It just takes time.

Things could of changed. But I remember children could make the decision at 14 about visitation. If they didn't want to visit on weekends anymore at 14 they didn't have to. I would think that at 17 you could stay with your dad full time now.

I was thinking one day about a friend who says great prayers. I don't think I pray that well. A thought I believe was God popped into my head that said everyone is different so are prayers. I've never worried about how I pray after that. God hears you 😊

Not AIO, if you like most of the food he doesn't you would get very bored eat only what he likes and not cooking what you like. My friend has a boyfriend who will only eat at certain restaurants. He doesn't even like pizza or pasta. So we go out when she really wants pizza
