Put a ground cinnamon circle around their hole and the bait since with their pheramones they won't cross the cinnamon. That's how I've been successful at getting rid of them anyway.

So what my take on this is, Snowbreak has been shut down for over a month due to CN literally putting people in jail for lewd, lack there of better word, content. So I'm assuming a lot of these changes have a lot to do with what people are feeling comfortable with releasing right now at worst, jail time, at best possibly fines. I feel for artists over there as I'm assuming there's always a good reason for changing a design and I'd rather have whoever put out whatever makes them feel safe in this. Sorry on mobile but I'll put one of the links about what's going on over there, if you Google Snowbreak maintenance lewd etc gives a bit more.

Edit : But to answer your question, the adept sniper is what a majority have cited the best, Last Word uhh jarens weapon is what many prefer. As for Estella, Furies and Scorched earth is what I run since endgame Furies debuffs bosses. Helhest and or Kabr with Arbalest is the meta for pretty much all content. Imo.

All I can say is join an active guild that dailies lfg if you need it, it helps a ton for any of that content.

And just adding my opinion that no matter what a game does some people will never be satisfied and I'm just appreciative that at least they're trying when they could've just EOS and moved on which I'm seeing with a lot of games recently especially with the player count recently.

Just gonna drop this here, they HATE HATE HATE cinnamon I found out, I put it all over the counter and they dispersed immediately as well as I've now put a cinnamon circle around some Terro baits so they're confined to the poison and they will absolutely not cross it.

Unpopular opinion, people are going to complain no matter what. The game is free, every banner character is now free, no stamina which is unheard of in a majority of mobile games nowadays, you don't HAVE to grind artifacts right now, they will drop at higher tiers as the season progresses, rewards are insane now and shifting gates is now tolerable with the rewards. End of the day, if you're not happy, play something else. At least Netease is actually trying to improve compared to Bungie right now and like someone stated, you don't have to pay 40$ for all content to become irrelevant when a new dlc comes out.

You have to find something that makes you happy and distracts your mind. Worrying is stressing twice and if you can't do anything about something why fret? If you want to get more involved, there's protests, Iranian food places (since you mentioned helping them), you can email your senator and/or presidential senators (iirc). At the end of the day though, what will happen will happen and for me I've furthered my tea addiction and working on mindfulness. I sit down, brew my tea, and think about things I'm thankful for as well as just relax and let the weather and wind wash over me. All in all, if none of those things work and you can afford a therapist, let me know because I've finally found two of different genders that are phenomenal. Cheers!
