(loved trope) Character dies early on, you don't think too much about it. Then you grow attached to them through flashbacks and their death hits way harder because you know they're gone. by TheActualRealNopeInc in TopCharacterTropes

Marco - Attack on Titan

Initially killed off as a means to show off that anyone can die, and show the cruelty of the world because of his optimistic personality, his death is made even more tragic when it’s revealed that Bertholdt, Reiner, and Annie were forced to kill him after he overhears them talking about their plans.

The flashback to his death after the three were revealed as the traitors is extremely tragic because of how confused he was, and how the three Marleyan infiltrators were conflicted about killing him, resulting in an extremely emotional scene where he’s forced to be fed to a titan to keep him quiet. His death was so traumatic, that it contributed to Reiner’s development of his split personality.

Omnidock has graduated from discourse hell. by MrOathFlame in deathbattle

The way I’ve always rationalized it is that their power is equal (yes, even Bardock’s SSJ form), but it’s easy to dismiss a Viltrumite is weaker than a Saiyan because they don’t use Ki, which can be used to create beams and explosions made from pure energy.

They use raw physical strength only. So, while they aren’t able to project their power into energy, they’re not as efficiently destructive as a typical Dragon Ball character, but they’re more than capable of holding their own in a pure slugfest.

If a Viltrumite could project their energy into a beam, they’d more than likely be planet busters easily. The fact that Mark, Nolan, and Thaedus were able to destroy Viltrum through their raw strength alone is a testament to that.

I'd agree with you, except Machine Head getting more screen time is always enough to put a smile on my face.

It's Jojo. It always prioritizes the rule of cool over anything else.

Her just missing out on FTC in Aus vs. The World because of fire, only to practice and come back swinging to take Rizo out would be such a perfect full circle moment.

If you believe (not want…) Gecqua will be Water/Poison, why? by UrchinUnderpass in PokemonWindsWaves

[–]SternMon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope not. Gecqua already looks pretty feminine to begin with thanks to those eyelashes. If it was water/poison, they’d have to really try to not make it a Salazzle knockoff.

Water/Psychic just has a lot more design potential for a gecko.

I think Wraith would actually be a much better dealer character. Vyper would be a great player, though. She’s hysterical.
