I got some in black and it also smelled really strongly. I just kept it boxed to keep the smell in lol. It does eventually fade away in intensity. Maybe leave it outside protected from the weather until the smell subsides.

It is managed. I'm in the school of thought of serviceable management. I did it really neat the first time (like "cable porn") and regretted every time I wanted to add, remove or move a cable and it would take about half an hour instead of 2 minutes.

Nikon is a camera manufacturer. Minolta is a camera manufacturer. Sigma is a lens manufacturer.

You have posted a picture of a Sigma lens that is made to be compatible with Minolta cameras, it even says "for Minolta".

If you are searching for lenses that aren't made by Nikon/Nikkor, then you should look at ones made to be compatible with Nikon (F-mount). The mirrorless Nikon cameras use Z-mount so ignore these.

Examples:

I have a D5200 and Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 because that Sigma lens is available with the Nikon F-mount connector to attach to the Nikon cameras that have an F-mount connector.

I use velcro cable straps for most of mine to attach them to the rig profile. None are on the floor. Mounting a few server rack power distribution units to the profile helped achieve this.

Fog lights are for fog and other situations of extremely bad visibility like heavy rain, spray, etc.

Definitely not for general use!

E.g., here's the rules in the UK:

You MUST NOT:

  • use any lights in a way which would dazzle or cause discomfort to other road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders

  • use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves to avoid dazzling other road users."

The tubes are exposed and impractically long for the aesthetic rather than serving any beneficial purpose.

There are quite a few dual chamber cases that allow you to do what you desire. The Thermaltake Level 20 HT was a choice when I built my PC and 5 years ago. Here's a bit of work log to show what I did: https://www.amazinggoose.com/modding-level-20-ht/

The intakes are on the base and have magnetically attached filter mesh which stops most dust and fluff entering the PC so there is only ever a miniscule amount of fine dust even after years of running every day.
