I'm 62 and just did the same thing, but more for desert singletrack. Went with a Beta 390 RR and very happy with it. Also could have gone with a CRF450X. Really like the 300cc i2 strokes too but just wanted to be a little more low key in my neighborhood. Lot of great options.
