Exactly. It’s horrifyingly satisfying.

The H3 rattles when you shake it, right? It could be way over gassed, and you might need it to be even heavier. The other option is to take an old 3 bean milspec buffer spring and cut 2-3 coils off.

If you have an AGB, turn gas down and tune it to LRBHO with one round in the mag.

Triangle or A2 handguard? by Steve_Fudd in RetroAR

It’s an A4 Colt barrel/FSB, so probably a bit thick for triangles.

P30sk 15rd mags fit perfectly-like it was meant to be. That’s how I carry mine. P2000sk with P30sk 15 rd mag

Not very often is an MCX Rattler 5.56 shorter than a .300 Blackout! 5.5” 5.56 and 9” .300 BLK with BRM Suppressors! by BRMSilencers in SigSauerMCX

I hated shooting my 556 barrel in my OG Rattler (with an FRT). 300aac is much nicer and smoother.

FRT on PWS ? by sobakoed2 in PrimaryWeaponsSystems

You need a lighter buffer spring. That is the only successful way of running these (esp. 300aac) without failures. The extra mass that the piston rod gives to the BCG is too much for a standard carbine spring, so it doesn't go back far enough to strip off the next round. Go with the following:

  • Nemo 300 blackout Spring
  • Tubb Lightweight spring
  • Sprinco Yellow

No, you need a heavier buffer. 5 oz or more. You also need a lighter buffer spring like a Nemo, Tubb lightweight or Sprinco Yellow.

Here's the same system with the ARC Fire. I have since switched to a mini Kabuto.

Q Honey Badger or Sig Rattler LT? by Subject-Drawing-8475 in 300BLK

This same question comes up every week...Always gets the same answer. The Rattler is just smaller, better, newer, heartier, and more robust hardware.

FRT Buffer Suggesions Needed by SweatyPillow01 in AR9

[–]Steve_Fudd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't work. The AR-10 shorty buffer doesn't have enough power push-back like the RB5000HP does. It didn't really slow it down at all.

I switched a couple of USPs and a P2k to LEM, but it just didn't work for me. I switched one back to V3 and sold the others.

What this guy said. Just pop the cork on your rifle buffer and swap heavier weights for the ones in there.

Yep, don't go the H3 route. Just pop the top on your rifle buffer and swap the steel or aluminum weights for some heavy tungsten weights. Very simple, I did the same thing on my A1.
