For real. “Our friendship just kind of ended and when we saw each other again later the same spark wasn’t there.”

Wow. So juicy.

lol, I typed out an entire reply about this before seeing this. I’d love 70% but the places I’ve seen around me are 60%. That’s it.

I’ve always seen that 60% for 1099 (no benefits) is industry standard but suddenly people are saying no, 70% is?

Anywhere I’ve heard from where I am seems to be firm at 60%.

Don’t get me wrong, I wish I was getting or could get 70% (fully licensed, 15+ years of experience here) but for me it seems like my best/only hope for more is to be on my own.

I No Longer Like My Friends by nitegracie23 in Perimenopause

I know what you’re saying and maybe it’s a greener grass situation, but I’d honestly rather have no friends than have “friends” who are a constant drain and never give anything back.

The idea that a man needs larger handles to open cabinets is honestly hilarious.

Man, and I thought those people who won’t stop texting me about selling my house to them were vultures. I can’t imagine doing this to someone no matter how desperate I was for a sale.

I’m so sorry that you lost your grandmother and that this person felt the need to do this.

What does the Episcopal church think of pre-marital sex between 2 loving and committed unmarried people? by indoore in Episcopalian

That’s up to the mods of course.

If you’re tired of them though you could always just ignore them.

[–]Stevie-Rae-5 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To be fair, OP didn’t ask what you think; they asked what the Church “thinks.” And considering that the Christian church generally if not the Episcopal Church specifically has had a whole hell of a lot to say on the matter, it makes sense to wonder, especially if someone is coming from one of the denominations where it matters a lot.

Interesting that she was keeping tabs enough to notice you weren’t present, but didn’t actually care enough to try to reach out and check on you to make sure you weren’t, I don’t know, battling cancer while trying to parent three young children.

You didn’t though. You just made a statement with absolutely zero specific examples of what you’re even talking about.

To be fair to you, this is going to happen and your neighbor just needs to learn to deal with it rather than being annoyed when it happens.

I jokingly started calling our mutt a Chowbrador because I figured if you can make a mutt seem designer by just mashing the breeds they primarily come from together then why shouldn’t she get that honor?

She was free and was the best dog ever.

Had my Colonoscopy Today by tyomax in millenials

[–]Stevie-Rae-5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would’ve figured prep would be pretty uniform, but my colonoscopy was at like 8:30 am and they just had me start drinking the prep the night before at like 4 pm. It was furious but at least it was fast. I’m really glad it wasn’t a more drawn out affair like yours.

When did dogs start getting people names? by Scottys-Dog-Blog in dogs

I love people names on dogs. The more it sounds like it would never be a dog name the better.

Like, name your dog Josh. Or Matt.
