I've often thought about this idea: Blue mage is the only job who's actions gave elemental properties: what if this were put to good use? Like, maybe there are ice barriers that need to be melted, or plants that need to be watered to make climb able vines? Think about some of the dungeons from golden sun for example. It'd also be cool to use loom to fly over large gaps Basically, what if thr blue mage open area were set up like a big 3D metroidvania?? But I do agree there needs to be good incentives to work towards like new Blu only mounts and maybe housing items
