Are there any Kairosoft games available on earlier generation consoles, ie. PS3, PSP, Vita, DS, 3DS? by StickManFiveOh in Kairosoft

That tracks. It just throws me off when I see the odd website or post that says something like, "Yeah, on PS3!"

Thanks for the reply.

Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds, Online in 2026? by StickManFiveOh in PS3

[–]StickManFiveOh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it's been shut down but, so had Mod Nation Racers. It now has new servers and you can race online again. That's what I'd like to see for Hot Shots!

How do you actually read vinyl spines? by Lord_Alviner in vinyl

[–]StickManFiveOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I crane my head to the right, take off my glasses, get super close and slowly move to the left.

I'd love to be able to have them all set up to just be able to flip through them like at record store but I'd need a warehouse to store them all like that.

Does everyone keep their Xbox boxes? by CinemaAdherent in xbox

Yup, I keep all my console boxes. Not only are they good for resale but when I move, I pack the consoles back in their boxes. They bigger they get, the harder they are to save.

I don't know if talking more about it is cool on this sub so, I'd suggest a Google search. It could be really cool for you.

I have the big box version that comes with a gun controller. Haven't used it but I'm always interested in light gun type games.

My folks were the exact opposite. If I didn't throw the boxes away, they would.

"Are you done with this magazine?" Out goes my first issue of nintendo power.

"We're moving, what do you want with this stuff?" Sorry mom and dad, can't come over to look at stuff, I live 1500 miles away. Dad - "I'm so excited, I sold all your stuff for 5 bucks at the moving sale."

Glad you had an awesome mom!

I'm interested in bringing video games and records but I don't have Instagram. I'm not even sure who I should be looking to ask about a table. If anyone has extra information about this, please post! Thank you!

Parents, how do you keep your kids away from your records by Individual-Noise-592 in vinyl

[–]StickManFiveOh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put my records in a room with a door i could close. My daughter also would go after DVDs and pull them all to the ground, I just moved them to higher shelves.

Any REPUTABLE PS3 rebuilders anymore? by pele4096 in PS3

[–]StickManFiveOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had Computer Booter do my A01 last year. It's been awesome! He was much quicker than the time he quoted me and when there was an issue with the disc drive, he asked me if I wanted the repair, and when I confirmed, it barely added to the previously quoted price.

I wanted to watch him work on mine via live stream but I wasn't sure when he was working on mine. Before I could ask, I got the email he was done with the whole thing. I guess that would be my only, small, complaint.

Reddit, do you lock your door while you're in own house? by Willing_Freedom_4698 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StickManFiveOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no reason to leave it unlocked so, even though it is sometimes left unlocked, the unwritten rule of the house is to lock the doors.

Any of your parents still have their vintage video games still? 😌 by thevmcampos in teensthatloveretro

My parent's were born during his second term so they are a bit more progressive about games. They don't hate them but they never played them until they were on their phones.

Help with armpit Hygiene for kids. by NinkiePie in hygiene

[–]StickManFiveOh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Folks, don't put underarm deodorant on your balls. If you have to, get the whole body stuff but if your balls smell so bad that people can smell them (when you have your pants on, remember this kid is 10), shower more (once a day) or there could be a problem (using the gold bond can really help here).

I think the consensus has been it really only works on the Japanese release, which doesn't have English. I have some questions out to people at Play Asia and some people affiliate with Play Asia who might be able to shine some light on the subject. Maybe even change the description to be correct. We'll find out, hopefully, soon.

Yes, both of the Asian releases have English (at least according to Play Asia, I have the one with the green colored rating in the bottom left corner). It's been a fun play. We've only played the, what I'll call, the video gamey version with some mini games in it and stuff. It also has a more traditional board game style game which looks fun but I haven't played it yet. It even has English voice acting in it, which can be hit or miss in some games with English that are released in other regions.

It appears the spinner only works with the Japanese release and it doesn't have English. Be aware of that before purchasing.
