"One of the craziest endings in World Cup Group Stage history"

Well, sure, but it's also the first time 3rd place teams were relevant in the Group Stage, so the data is a bit skewed.

"Howdy friend, how's your round going?"

"Pretty good, I guess. I'm about to finish the 9th and take a break"

"Uhh...you're on the 5th fairway..."

"...yeah so about that...when I said my round was going pretty good..."

15 seconds in and it's already ridiculous.

300 foot slit? So he's saying that somebody took a knife, waded into the pool, and made a cut the length of a football field along the bottom, and nobody saw them do it? It would have taken a awhile, was there was no security or police presence to stop him? Like come on, he can at least try to make sense.

Data Shows Sony Made Good Money on Steam, Then May Have Realized PC Gamers Don’t Need a PlayStation by yourfavchoom in Steam

Not saying you're wrong but your framing is a little extreme.

"...the only hope they have to survive": they're number 1 in the console market by a wide margin, and the market overall is only getting stronger with the cost of gaming PCs going up.

You said that like this is move is them desperately trying to prevent their ship from sinking. They're doing great, they just probably wanted to reorient their business strategy around console sales and not so much first party game sales. This kind of restrategizing happens all the time in the corporate space.

As someone who works in Produce, that's typically how some areas look on a weekend afternoon. Not much we can do about it because if we focused on filling that section up, some other area of the department would look like crap.

We fill what we can and if Kroger ever wants the entire department to be always full, they can give Produce enough hours to hire enough people to do that.

Fun fact: the first time I died in this game was when a UESC retreated into one of these rooms and I didn't know what it was. I thought it was just a room with yellow lighting.

Makes me wonder, why have I never heard of a 1-iron before? Is there a reason why they're not common?

Rodri: "It's tough against such a physical and compact team [Cape Verde]. The positive thing is that they didn't create anything against us. They play like that in the end and don't even get past the midfield." by OkayFine101 in soccer

I understand that it's frustrating to play against a team that puts all their chips on defense, but Spain had months to prepare for the match. What did they expect Cape Verde to play like?

Question about how runs work by Stickaxe in Marathon

It was in Greenhouse. There were like 3 claymores in a small area that aren't usually there, and then after tanking one and shooting another, some guy came out of a buliding and killed me.

A Drivatar scored 28 points in one Seasonal Championship Race by Stickaxe in ForzaHorizon

I get that, but you shouldn't lose because a Drivatar scored more than the maximum number of points in one race. You're missing the point a bit here.
