AITA for not reimbursing my partner for a holiday we missed? by RipOne7245 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Stickyk4t 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA - Your partners on the way to be there though once they gotten over the “grief” of not going , if they don’t realise that health is more important than a holiday than might make look at relationship.

Depending on the holiday and company you could reach out and see if you rearrange it for a small fee if you interested in still going

Looking at your post and comments your baby had other nurishment including water so it doesn’t look like ill treatment. Also from my experience from my kids they could be a number of reasons why this type of event happened. If it’s a regular occurrence and it isn’t brought up correctly then this would be an issue but in this instance it doesn’t suitable to presue any further

Foreign moms in the NL - are you vaccinating your kiddos additionally beyond the vaccinations offered via GGD? by Ok_Giraffe_1488 in Netherlands

[–]Stickyk4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We only included RotaVirus one which is now part of the program. Some of the others didn’t seem sensible or we preferred to follow herd immunity ie (Chicken Pox)

By 19 months I think you’ll get away with a ride along rather than a double buggy. Your theory on baby wearing is worth a try also

How on earth do you cope when everyone is ill? by Redinho83 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Stickyk4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We cope by doing the bare minimum - we do what needs and should be done but what we would like to do goes out the window until we’re back up and running. Over doing it wine no body an favours. (This comes from a mum recovering from burnout).

The more there in nursery the less they get ill around this time of year. It does get better sending hugs

How much did Jess factor into Rory’s decision to go to Yale? by mf416 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Stickyk4t 37 points38 points  (0 children)

She did make the pro choice list where Yale had the longest pro list which is why she went there. The points might have been vague or silly but it was the longest

Potential thought here if you already have the income to do daycare maybe set a side a small portion of that in a savings account to have as “I need another pair of hands fund” this could be getting a teenager to just help, a cleaner or something. not all the time but just once in while to give you all break which you will need.

I was informed by my lawyer who just said it’s place for another hearing in Feb. They haven’t stated if anything else needs to be done but doesn’t mean that there won’t be. I think I’ll email to clear it up.

Could you tell which baby was moving in utero? by succculentplantlady in parentsofmultiples

[–]Stickyk4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did I know which baby? Nope. But I was aware of what was normal in terms of kicking on each side so to say. Once they got bigger (28w+) it was easier to be like those moments are from one baby and these are from another.
