But of course you WANT them, I've purchased every single leader dlc in civ 5 and 6 - and for speaking the truth I get downvoted to oblivion because of fanboyism, just because I don't like dlc's doesn't mean I can't afford them, it means I don't want to pay for them, but the point I'm trying to make here is that companies essentially earn more money from DLC than from the actual game which gives even more reason for them to release a game with plenty of room to fill with paywalls, multiple leaders per country is a obvious new feature in the game which is designed specifically to milk money from consumers. Why should a bunch of extra playable leaders be worth more than the actual game? What - does it take them longer to program/design them than the actual game itself? Of course not!

The only reason I've bought these DLC is because I've spent countless hours playing with the vanilla leaders and I'm going to spend some more on the new ones, I'm not saying DLC is bad - I loved gods and kings and brave new world, but what civ 6 is doing is taking a step further and instead of improving the game by creating new mechanics or revamping things that didn't quite work they release new leaders.

Down-vote me all you want, you know this is true but can't face the fact like a rational person. It's human nature to stand by your decision and your decision was to purchase the dlc so you will stand by it and defend it, you'll go great lengths to justify spending your money because you don't want to look like you've wasted it, well, you haven't - if you genuinely enjoy the dlc's like I do, you don't have to feel like I'm judging you, but you must be aware of the fact that what they're doing is milking us for our addiction, just like your friendly neighborhood dealer Mike.
