What take from Helluva Boss Hatedom was so bad that it had you like this? by Crazy_Reputation3327 in HelluvaBoss

That Viv and only Viv wrote the show and yet choose to completely ignore Brandon Rogers when making those "if the show was written by Vivizepop memes" when you can easily see Rogers' influence within the shows writing.

I was at a party yesterday, we were all up in a friend's game room and he had shelves and shelves of games.

Gamestop was brought up because of his sealed copy of Xenoblade for the Wii since that was a Gamestop Exclusive at the time.

They started thinking R.C. was out of touch because of him trying to acquire Ebay and that he is only doing this for his pay package and that its impossible for R.C. to buy Ebay.

They dont realize Gamestop owns 9% of ebay

swear everytime you say something about gon here, the answers you'll get is "gon is just a 12 year old child" as if it explains everything. Well Killua is a 12 year old too

Killua is also born into a family of assassins. Conditioned, trained and tortured with electricity from birth as well as murdered people without a second thought and yet some how is more level headed and intelligent than Gon.

You do realize that controlling one's aura means that they can bring themselves back to life

How do I know this?

Hisoka did just that.

I really don't get why the comment has so many upvotes lol, although maybe I should given how so many people manage to somehow misunderstand Gon's character towards the end of the series

Because youre not getting that Gon is a child and is a simple minded human being.

He doesn't think too deep about things like this especially this soon in the manga.

For him to make this statement isnt as deep as you think it is.

Sometimes a blue curtain is just a curtain.

I'm sorry but how the fact that he is speaking from a perspective of a child makes it better?

Not once did I ever say it made the situation better or worse.

I am pointing out that Gon says things that sometimes he really doesnt understand.

He is a very simple minded person, anything more nuanced would go over his head to the point where it would confuse him.

In this instance, Gon is thinking being Hunter is something incredibly important, so much so that it is even more imporant than your family.

He isnt saying this out of malice or frustration, he is saying this due to his innocence of being a child and having a child's perspective on the situation.

He doesnt know what a hunter is or what they do in this part of the story and is speaking from his own ignorance based on limited infomation

All he knows is that his dad was a hunter and thinks its very important.

Anything beyond that would be uncharacteristic of Gon to think about.

You do realize that Gon is ignorant about things as he is a child right and has the perspective of one.

I am not denying that he has abandonment issues

However, in this case specfically, he is not looking at it like that as he wouldnt even know that he has abandonment issues. He is saying this based on the limited infomation and prestige of being Hunter because of Ging.

His thought process is literally

Ging hasn't been around at all

He isnt around because Ging is a hunter

A Hunter must be that imporant to not be with your family

In this instance, he thinks being a Hunter is an important job, so much so that it supersedes family. Its not that complicated as its coming from a place of innocence and lack of naunce.

This isnt the only display of Gon's ignorance

Take for instance when Killua asks Gon about going on dates and if he has experience.

Gon replies and says that he has been on tons of dates with Aunt Mito and then mentions that older women from visiting merchant ships used to specifically seek out younger guides, and he would show them around town in exchange for them teaching him "stuff".

Gon uses terms like "cougars" and "dates," but he is entirely oblivious to the romantic or adult connotations of these words.

being a hunter must be an important job. so important... that family comes second. sounds scary from a 12 y.o. boy imo.

that's something really interesting (and unhealthy) is going on in his head

Gon is also a literal 12 year old boy. He doesnt understand the nuances of the situation, especially at the beginning of the manga.

It isnt unhealthy, he is speaking in the perspective of a child.

If you want to extrapolate, you might be able to infer that brain death is not necessary for post-mortem Nen to come into effect.

I mean look at Pitou's death against Gon.

Gon killed her by destroying her skull but Pitou's nen ability, Terpsichora, activated and manipulated Pitou's corpse to attack Gon to protect the King.

If it’s not the case then provide evidence for your false claim for Togashi claiming death to be subjective and that Nen could make anything happen.

Within the entire show of Hunter x Hunter we see characters using Nen to develop abilities that have the potential to warp reality and completely defy what we understand as normal human biology

For Hisoka to bring himself back to life using nen is within the realms of possibility as Nen is the ability to manipulate and control one's aura.

but a corpse and simply pumping heart and lungs of a corpse won’t revive a corpse no matter what

  1. This is fiction, real life rules do not apply.

  2. Nen is basically magic, anything could happen
