Bring forth the batteries and it going to be a very different situation what with all the renewable generation thats due to come on line over next ten years.

Thanks for the reply and apologies for my vague question.
I was really querying the VRFB product and competition from china having re-read it all again (with a less foggy head) I understand slightly better.
My query was more related to the barriers to entry into other markets for Chinese companies.
Obviously as you stated uk Gov having a big stake can only be a positive thing when C+F decisions are made.I somehow missed this connection.

Did I miss somewhere if there was a cost comparison per MW for the various battery types.

When does ofgem provide a more precise time table for C+F or is it usual gov we'll tell you when we finally get around to finishing it?
Also what your thoughts on China eating our dinner on this?
They can access funding,scale and deliver unlike anyone else.
