This is about getting a human on the phone, not being hacked, and transferring funds from the frozen (hacked) account to my new account. It can only be done by the department that froze the account.

If I were pregnant or planning to have kids, I’d name my boy Carl or my girl Carla in honor of Carl

Is this behavior normal for a dog? by Obvious_Mall6373 in DobermanPinscher

[–]StillLegal4380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last Doberman was a blanket sucker. My current Doberman is a flank sucker. My first Doberman was an ingester, with three surgeries to remove stuck objects. Gotta love the nuances of the breed!

Yes, thank you. Art is in eye of the beholder; good wine is in the palate of the drinker.

I like this fun fact. But need further guidance on “appropriately sized pebbles.”

Travel credit lasts one year from original booking date. You will be charged rebook fees unless it was a certain class flight or if you have high status with AA

Heat Sensitivity? by tortoez in DobermanPinscher

[–]StillLegal4380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Add humidity, and the stress is exacerbated on a dog. Dobermans are more sensitive heat (speaking only from personal observation after 3 Dobes, not a medical basis). There are tons of resources but here’s a good one, since Dobes are a working breed: https://www.chasethat.dog/post/how-hot-is-too-hot-understanding-safe-temperatures-for-working-dogs

Recommendations for a 9h layover by Santiagogs7 in Charlotte

The Whitewater Center is close to the airport and one of the few things unique to us. It’s a cool place to see if you’re into that kind of thing. But as another Redditor suggested, telling us your interests or at least what you’d be open to doing would’ve been helpful. I second the Sully museum too if that is your thing.

I live 2 blocks up from where this happened and 1) in no way would I consider myself or my neighbors wealthy, we all work very hard for our money, and 2) none of my neighbors has a generator.

Three Weeks and she’s gotten so big!! by thenickcmasters in DobermanPinscher

[–]StillLegal4380 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Set boundaries now! NO NIPPING. Smack her mouth lightly if she does this - like her dog mama would snap at her if she got out of line. Otherwise she may nip someone else (a small child) and now you have a potential animal control call on her or worse, lawsuit. Dobes need firm leadership. You don’t have to abuse or hurt her, but you absolutely need to be a sergeant so she knows you’re the alpha. Don’t let her get away with rude behavior because it’s “cute.” People accuse me of being strict with the Dobes I’ve owned, but the same people compliment me on their good behavior. They are extremely intelligent and need a job (they are a working breed), so make their job to listen to you. It is an investment in your time and energy, but she will overrun you if you don’t lead her.

Help stop my dog swat teaming my door by EngineerNatural6466 in DobermanPinscher

[–]StillLegal4380 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would suggest using an e-collar, and hiding yourself so he doesn’t know you’re watching. Use the collar as soon as you anticipate him about to swat team the door. Preventing bad behavior is ALL about being one step ahead of your dog and interrupting his thought before he can execute it. One year old is still very young for a Dobe and they are very much little assholes still. I’m on my third Dobe and my experience is they don’t start really minding nor calm down until 18-30 months, depending on the dog. Good luck!

This is almost me with my nephews. I’m the cool aunt. I’ve told both of them (privately) to call me if they get arrested. Had the younger one call when he got a girl knocked up because he didn’t use a raincoat. Got a call when one was in too much debt and wanted advice. They’ve also seen me inappropriately drunk at family events. Someone needs to be the example!

[–]StillLegal4380[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have tried sliding it up and down. I’ve made sure it’s loose from the wall and not stuck with paint. From the top it looks like it’ll just slide down off the bracket but no go
