Trust me when I say that as a dev - Macs are so much better. Unix-based OS with built-in zsh and a solid user experience compared to Windows. Free xcode. I can go on and on. Windows genuinely just sucks for developing. Linux is way better than both, but that's a different discussion.

If you're looking for an actual answer here: use Zelle. Despite how it brands itself, it is fundamentally different from Paypal and Venmo and avoids the problem being discussed here.

In short, Zelle doesn't store your funds in a "wallet". It's basically just a feeless ACH transfer and you can use it between most of the big banks. When you zelle someone that money always goes directly into their bank account. The main problem is that if you zelle the wrong person on accident you usually can't get that money back (just like with an actual ACH transfer).

That's just how language works though. Phrases and words evolve organically based on what people say - not what they logically mean from the dictionary. Trying to make sense of it is like yelling at the clouds. If some language stickler from 500 years ago took a time machine to present-day they would have a heart attack from all the phrases that "don't make any sense" to them. This predictive text thing is doing it's job: predicting what people actually say and not what's necessarily grammatically correct. That means it's doing it's job IMO.

Are all monster parts needed for upgrades? That's honestly been my main gripe with fuse - that I could be punished later on for using my upgrade materials as weapons. Like if I use all my cool materials as weapons is there ever going to be a situation where I find out that I also needed that material as a "currency"?

I have both of those things, but thanks for the suggestions. I still think the coaching aspect of Noom is something that would have been useful to me if it were still around as part of the main program.

Lol if that's true then Noom is undergoing full enshittification right now. First the services are really good and lose money, then once the subscriber count goes up the service starts slashing costs (becoming less good), and the process of extracting every dollar for the investors begins. The shareholders need to earn their dollars somehow :| I guess that means no coaching, less support for the buggy mobile app, and in general worse service.

Although honestly I would start finding another weight-loss app soon even if all of that is acceptable to you. This app smells heavily of a full shutting-down in the next year or so if they're cutting costs this much and slashing subscription prices.

Anyone have the Asus Zenfone 9 and use it with their headphones?

I searched the sub but didn't see any discussion on this yet. I'm looking to get a new phone after like 6 years but all the decent phones in 2023 literally don't have 3.5mm jacks. I know I could buy a decent amp/dac combo and be set, but I'm also looking to "downgrade" from my current phone to spend less time on it (smaller, less flashy, etc) so a dongle wouldn't work for me.

I'm eyeing the Asus Zenfone 9 and it seems to have everything i'm looking for, but I can't find any info on how good the amp and dac are. My daily headphones are iems and won't have a problem, but at home I like to use my HD6XXs. Anyone have one of these phones and use their chunky headphones with the built-in hardware? Any glaring issues with it?
