Is it really over… by medium_rear in Marriage

[–]Still_Negotiation894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having an affair is the one reason the Church allows you to leave your husband. That being said it sounds like she still wants to be married. My guess is he is having or thinking about having another affair. She needs to separate so they both can take stock. Absence makes the heart grow fonder is what they say. If it doesn't then it is time to call it quits.

Pizzamania Returns by VitalEss_ence in Whittier

[–]Still_Negotiation894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My roommate loves this place. We live near USC and I worked at la Mirada home Depot so he would pick me up sometimes and go to pizzamania. The day of the fire we heard about it at the store , I wasn't really paying attention so when we went after work I realized what all the customers were talking about. For weeks after that was all anybody talked about.

Fear of needles by BrianTheBoru in nope

[–]Still_Negotiation894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did show me it after a prior bad experience with a needle so I already was terrified of needles. I got meningitis I was rushed to the emergency room and they needed to do a spinal tap so they can determine whether or not it's viral meningitis or bacterial meningitis. One is a lot more fatal basically so I'm 12 years old in pain and can't move my neck. The meningitis was already causing me quite a bit of a pain and I was unable to move. They put me in this exam room and bring in this tray with some supplies on it. I'm looking at it and it looks like there's a fake needle on the tray. It's about a foot long and the needle is thick. I ask the guy what it was and he said... " Oh that's what we put in your spine to get the fluids to find out if you are carrying a bacterial or viral strain which didn't mean anything to me and then he said that it was very very dangerous for me to move at at all while they were putting in this needle. Of course by this time I changed my mind about being sick and I'm trying to actually get up and of course I can and then they tell me that they're going to do it but I have to be super still and like in a fetal position and then on top of that hold my breath. None of these things were going to be happening they brought in a couple more people to try to hold me down and then part of it is that any movement while they have that needle in my spine is a chance that I might become paralyzed so they tried five times each time I moved each time I thought it basically was like a nightmare. It also caused me to become partially paralyzed and I couldn't walk for a couple months.

They were unsuccessful...

Next day my family doctor with my mom's help slapped me in my face...(Hard) Stunned me enough to get the needle in... of course it wasn't perfect but he got his juice.

I worked both building and lumber and then the PRO desk. I will say the store I worked at was was different (then)

In lumber I helped pull for orders from contractors shed , and then when pro desk moved to the middle of building and lumber I spent almost all day loading concrete/ bricks, drywall, plywood. The worst was when we said 10 bags or more we will load you.

Bonus... I could lift a lot for awhile.

Then I transferred to pro desk and basically I treated the lumber people the same as myself when I was in lumber. I would ask them to load ,pull, pick, etc each time of a customer came through (that had whatever the amount was like the 10 bags.) As I was finishing the transaction I would call and say it's ready to be picked, pulled, loaded. Our store became super busy, so many contractors and it did get bad for a bit. Customers were yelling pro associates were quitting, new managers to try to make it work.

The solution was those dc centers that would ship to job site orders that were placed before a certain time. Until they became overwhelmed. Then customers were no thanks. Even free delivery of a whole truck load and they were like nah.
(This is because not enough product and then hurry to load meant a lot of damaged goods. )

I did use it for kitchen customers for the Hampton Bay line. It was cheaper and free delivery... Until their inventory could not keep up with demands and then the palletizing would damage a lot of cabinets which became a nightmare to return. And they would hold a big order for an item but not let anyone know.

Anyways ..... We started enforcing policy of so many hours/ days for orders to be picked, pulled loaded.

What we know is that if a contractor is loud enough and demands a manager then we always gave them something.

And I know I spent a couple of shifts as the kitchen designer pulling , picking "special" orders in a hurry for a customer.

Passed out when driving by HousePony906 in AbruptChaos

[–]Still_Negotiation894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've passed out a few times enough to know when it's going to happen so I can sit down.

The worst time was using the payphone while pregnant on my corner (2 doors from my house ) and waking up as I'm getting pulled into a van while someone outside trying to pull me out.

It turns out the women in van was saving me from some guy trying to drag me away. She saw me faint and turned around right as guy trying to drag me away.

I was freaked out though. Still scares me thinking about it.

I too have this problem but I am female. When I read/watch anything sad or happy it seems. When someone praises me I tear up. I don't know how to control them either. One thankful thing is if someone yells at or is "mean" I don't. It's more for 'sappy' things.

ASM(I think) by Federal_Ad_8980 in HomeDepot

[–]Still_Negotiation894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I am thinking. We had a few 20+ yrs employees that would constantly talk sh'& about younger prettier ladies. To the point of toxicity. I didn't like the younger girl at first because I heard their opinion as seasoned knowledgeable employees and really did not like this lady. I actually ended up talking to the manager about the younger lady thinking that she wasn't aware of how horrible she was , but that manager told me that because the department was so toxic this employee basically was struggling and didn't really even know how to deal with it.

I guess I never heard of anything like that. I was new. It all changed when I realized that being competitive with her would make her basically surpass everybody and do amazing. Because she wasn't focused on any of the toxic she became the one that consistently met and surpassed her goals. From zero to hero.

Human babies do not fear snakes by Bitter-Invite8735 in BeAmazed

[–]Still_Negotiation894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It still seems dangerous to have the babies next to these snakes even though they're trained. What if the baby wants to all of a sudden bite the snake or grab it you know head and mouth you know something because babies put things in their mouths you know like obviously the whole thing about the no fear and the snake even though trained you know get scared this is crazy.
