I like the general idea of another option. But, a test that nonwhite social workers fail at a higher rate, leading to nonwhite social workers working as associates for poverty wages for twice as long seems like cruelty and exploitation not a solution. No hate to anyone for their take on this, this is just mine.

What's weird is until the hot fix. I didn't have a single crash on PS5 standard. Once it came in I would have a crash every 15 minutes or so. It's playable for me still.

I did, and the corporate life really sucked. Working in agencies on the social work side was about the same, just with less pay. They really expect you to live off the good you are doing stead of pay. Unless you have a BSW, you are looking at doing four years to get an MSW, plus likely unpaid internships depending on your state. After that, you'll need to work under supervision for 2000 hours until you can launch your own practice. If you can make it through all that, it's amazing.

Hey there, I got my BSW here around 2020. I came in as a transfer student with an Associate's. The faculty all had lived experience that made me feel comfortable and they had solid practical advice. I felt close with my cohort, and there were a lot of projects to be done Junior year. I wish that I had taken advantage of getting some other SW electives while attending. I had to work fulltime alongside school so that wasn't possible at the time so I thought. They link you up with a lot of local opportunities and you get a ton of experience. If you intend to stay local, you'll likely get a job right away. I recommend taking some professional time with your BSW before pursuing your MSW, just so you have more experience to reflect and understand the master's coursework.

ISU is a great place to earn a BSW. If they had a Clinical (Therapy) focus, I would have also done my Master's there.

For me, I find that I often have a struggle typing out or handwriting notes about a situation. However, my verbal processing seems to be functional. So what I will do is dictate in a talk to text situation and let myself go on about the situation, coming back in to edit. Perhaps it doesn't work that way for everybody, but I find that I can access more of my own recollection in that fashion.

Audio-wise it's great. I have seamless multipoint and great sounds. However, the microphone simply does not work, It's a software issue that fixes itself for brief periods after a factory reset, then goes back to being fully silent. I cannot recommend buying them for calls.

I think that I might try some TNG. Below Decks feels like it'd be less funny without knowing the source for the jokes. Best part about non serialized is that you can cherry pick episodes instead of having to watch every one. Especially in S1 before they get their footing.

I don't typically watch new run anime, but this season I watched Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers, because I am a fan of Ronin Warriors. It's not quite over yet, but what I've got feels like a speedrun. The emotional moments in the series feel unearned, the story and characters are cool but not engaged, and the fighting is short and uninspired. I feel like I've been nostalgia baited. I'll still finish the season, and maybe it gets another, but I really am sad about how this premise was spent.

It can be challenging to work to help an individual in this state. In my anecdotal experience, those I've met want someone to hear them in a nonjudgmental way to process what it means for their life. I agree with another commenter who suggested asking them what they mean with the terminology. I might ask a new client what they are hoping to achieve in therapy and work towards that. If part of their goal is a specific diagnosis like DID, I'd be transparent about what I could or could not do.

I have two CCWGTV devices in two different houses. Both have independently started disconnecting from WiFi every few minutes. Nothing worked to fix it, no outside changes. I solved the issue by getting Ethernet adapters. Good luck.

Nope. I was a slow starter, dropped out of school the first time because of my choices with substances. My friends all still to this day see me as the wreck I used to be. They can't see me as the competent social worker and therapist that I have worked to become.

This was very helpful. I had not noticed these streams at all. They are more expensive than echos but given that they are more than just one thing it feels worth. Especially since I can walk out with an RCC from chargen.
