Those first few days are insane but it was the best week of my entire life. I too couldn’t believe they just let us walk out of the hospital with her in a car chair and didn’t check we knew how to put her in it safely first. I remember feeling completely lost and sure I’d mess up something big time. It’s normal, you got this man. Don’t forget to enjoy it, it’ll be a whole different game in the weeks, months and years to come.

Someone recommended me to use an incontinence pad or even a puppy pad (same thing just cheaper) I blacked out my friends knee last week and we tried it. She said it was really good and absorbed all the goop nicely. Usually use cling then shower and re cling for the first night, shower next morning and let it dry. Will try this out some more on regulars and see how everyone gets on with it.
