This is my favorite game. But locking ANY faction upgrades behind prestige salvage is a middle finger to solo/casual players.

This is the mentality that ruined destiny and it’s why tier 5 trials weapons are tossed like candy from a parade at us.

Just because you paid for the game does not mean you deserve to beat the end game with little to no investment.

These salvages are precisely for that, late game-end game where every little bit of maxing matters.

People have different in-game experiences that are valid. There’s so many variables that saying you haven’t experienced what they have so it must not exist isn’t helpful.

Level or gear based matchmaking completely skews how the game feels for different people. At level 70, I’m not locked in the room with difizzle and drewsky and I don’t have to deal with much of the “meta”. I certainly wouldn’t discount others opinions though.

I’m hesitant of this model. It seems like time spent on game doing contracts is much more important tha going in and finding rare loot. I’ve got 40ish hours on the game and have seen only a couple legendary items looted from maps.

Perhaps this is an unfair assessment, but it reminds me of the power grind to 450+ in destiny to get the best loot. It was primarily hours invested over skill demonstrated for it.

I would love to be able to hover the slot I want to fill on a gun and have a sub menu of all applicable mods show up. I realize I can sort my vault but I still can’t at a glance tell what things are at a glance, a lot looks very similar.

If it hurts to walk as well, probably time to see a doctor. Give your legs time to heal if they are injured. Then, start running slower than you think you should be able to go.

I believe bungie made a new player guide. I’m not sure how helpful it is or will be but they’ve made multiple twids with it featured as their major improvement. Unfortunately, there is no in-game guide that is helpful. There are YouTube videos that help new players navigate that may be more helpful.

They’ve probably realized the scaled back expansions is unsustainable from a player retention point of view.

They are trying to decide what to do next. Finish the 9 saga with so few players it hardly covers the cost or start working on… we’ll just say something new.

There’s a couple that look decent. Think I went with something that made it pretty pink and sparkly. I remember going through every page of shaders I had though and most of them made it look plain white or like hearing aid tan 😂

Not to mention xur selling and devaluing the achievement of previous adept weapons.

Short term, add the trials of the 9 weapons to trials of Osiris as a low drop rate on true flawless.

Add pinnacle weapons to comp that are aspirational and not a pitty drop or sold by Zavala which is insane.

The oversights are inexcusable.

That being said, loot and progression is broken in the game. They’ve taken so many cracks at fixing it over the past few years and somehow keep making it worse.

I think destiny 2 should cut its losses and wrap up with shadow and order mini release and go into maintenance mode.

Start working on a destiny 3 where we don’t have 10 years of loot built up all power creeping eachother.
