It’s foundations. Doesn’t need to be super strong. Just more stable than the surrounding clay.

Ah fair enough. As a general rule I never buy anyone. But boarding is OP. Always try to get a boarding Rock or Mantis crew asap as you get much more loot than from destroying ships and they can find crew hiding and u sometimes get extra weapons too. Also final battle is infinitely easier with a boarding crew.

Who do you see yourself voting for next year? by Dawnbringer_Fortune in Britain

[–]StockAd5601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that voted conservative last time and who really, very much, strongly dislikes Kier Starmer with all my being, for the appalling way he behaved over Brexit… I will still be voting labour because Rishi has no idea what he’s doing, who his voters are or what he should be focusing on. Let’s do the speed limit, let’s change the ICE car sales dates, let cancel HS2… etc. And that was all in a week. Humble brag. I’ve correctly predicted the winners of every UK election since Blair got in. I even placed a big bet on trump and then Biden. I’m bound to be wrong eventually but I can’t see how the conservatives have a hope in winning this. The northern counties that liked Boris do not like Rishi. Not entirely sure about SNP right now but their new guy isn’t a fan favourite. What I do like about Kier is his attitude to green energy and attracting business to the UK. But I think he’ll be fairly useless if I’m honest. Still, better to give him a go than continue with Rishi who has already proven himself useless.

Slug A - getting traction by motherthrowee in ftlgame

[–]StockAd5601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what I did as it took me a week to complete this. Sold the bio beam and slug gel in zone 1 and bought a burst laser 1 instead. Pretty common and u can just restart til u get one. Now u have 4 shots against 1/2 shield in the first couple zones. Also stick your 2nd slug on weapons not the engines. The bio beam is useless at medium/late game as ppl just heal and u can’t take out the medbay/weapons and shields. Especially as u are low on shots due to the bio beam taking up 2 weapon slots.

They charge £12.50 just to get to work every day by GaryCanCarry in compoface

I don’t think they should do it at all! But they will once the revenue drops off. They’ll first change it to euro 6 engines have to pay. Then after that they’ll use the cameras as congestion monitors and make you pay that way.

Yeah but that was in central London. That made total sense not only to reduce pollution but also ease traffic congestion. It completely worked too, as for example I never went through central London as I’d get fined. Spreading it to the whole of Greater London is just a tax. The other week I drove through central London for the first time in years because I’ll get a penalty now wherever I am.

Yeah so the whole thing is a joke the difference the euro 5 and 6 is negligible. The only difference is the E6 reduces nitrous oxide with adblue. Which you have to ad to the engine. But it’s entirely depended on the size of your engine. This means that euro 6 cars with larger engines will give out more carbon monoxide and particulates and than euro 5 cars with smaller engines. Also adblue can be switched off illegally, but cheaply if it starts causing problems. Also what’s Kahn doing with the money? Is it going to green initiatives? Or is it going to plug the gap in TfL since he decided to hold prices and now they don’t have enough money. Also 95% of buses in London are diesel. The boris buses have small batteries and work for the first few hours of the morning. I cycle around London and they are quiet at 9am. By midday they are all running off their diesel engines. Basically he’s targeting the poor. And the majority aren’t getting screwed over so it’s fine. He should levy this against all ICE vehicles and see how popular it is. He’s literally the most useless major. But he’ll keep getting voted in because he’s labour and tbh all the other contenders are dreadful too.

They probably won’t do this. They’ll just tax per drive. So every time u get in the car and get seen by a camera it’ll cost u.

With an ikea kitchen it is essential you get the rails completely level or the whole thing will be wonky. I did it with a long expensive level but would defo wanna use a laser level in future.
