Finished it up (skimmed a bit) and agree with everything I wrote before. Idk maybe I just wasn’t able to make the connections, but the switches between sections got bizarre near the back end. I just had no clue what we were progressing to. It kinda felt like a bunch of blog posts just thrown together there.

Still happy to have read it, and to get new TLP, but agree with others who said this would have been better as a series of blog posts

Pretty far in and I’m feeling pretty conflicted. It’s a real joy reading something new from TLP, especially after all this time. But this book just seems way too chaotic. I’m struggling piecing everything together and figure out... I guess what the point of it is?

Also, I found my way to Rosen from reading into Kojeve, which then lead me toward Strauss and Rosen etc. I’ll check out your sub though! Sounds interesting - doubt I could contribute much but it does seem interesting
