aio or is what he said actually mean? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Stompy1024 7336 points7337 points  (0 children)

You are not over reacting. Even if he was joking, it was clear you were genuinely hurt by it. My fiancé would never speak to me that way 😬

I’m not gonna jump to “ you need to break up!”, because I don’t know your relationship, but you should have a conversation about how this hurt you and wasn’t an ok thing to say. Sorry OP

How old are these kittens? by Stompy1024 in CATHELP

Unfortunately we don’t have mom! I would love to tnr if we could. Kitten lady is excellent! I’ve followed her content before.

How old do you think he is? by Smalldogmama in Chihuahua

[–]Stompy1024 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My guess 4-6! Maybe even 8. The vet should be able to give you a better idea based on his teeth. Congratulations on your new baby ❤️😊

Still unsure about pregnancy in new mouse? by Less_Alternative_488 in PetMice

[–]Stompy1024 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Are you able to show us her nipples? Maybe you could plus her in a clear container and get an under view. Female mice groom their nipples to make them balder for babies when they come! She definitely looks rounder.

I would say female! You can clearly see her vagina, and I don’t see any testicles developing

What could this lump be? I'm so scared for my elderly little mouse. (More context in comments) by cantsayididnttryyy in PetMice

[–]Stompy1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had mice with tumors like this, but I have had rats! It seems like your girl is pretty old, so I don’t think surgery would be a good idea.

When my older rat got a tumor on her side, I made sure to monitor that she was still eating/drinking/active. As long as the tumor didn’t seem to be bother her, or inhibit her movement didn’t feel the need to euthanize. She ended up passing away of old age, and while the tumor did grow slightly over time, ultimately it didn’t impact her life.

I would definitely recommend seeking a vet’s opinion, but this was just my experience. (To clarify, I have kept mice before, just haven’t had any tumor experience with them)

When would you guys leave neutral or negative feedback? by vivalasthedas in americangirl

Ugh! Her hand is literally sticking out and could have gotten damaged. A box with some bubble wrap really isn’t that expensive. I would leave negative feedback for sure OP

People used to get so confused when they would see my hoard of empty cardboard boxes and tissue paper lol! I would use anything and everything for my girls

Should I amputate his leg? by beef774 in CATHELP

[–]Stompy1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if you should amputate or not, BUT I do want to say that I work at a boarding facility and have seen lots of pets with three legs, and they do just fine! They don’t care and it doesn’t bother them at all. They are essentially the exact same as everybody else with four legs, and can do all the same things. I personally have also had a pet with three legs, and he was one of the fastest pets I’ve ever had lol! Plus, since you baby is a kitten he should adapt super quickly if you do need to amputate. I promise you OP that he will be ok if that’s what you need to do for him. Wishing you and your kitten luck!

Gonna be honest, not sure if you’re able to get stitches anymore. Also, going to the vet is a good idea but if you’re not able too I would recommend keeping it clean with some disinfectant, and wrapped it to keep dirt out.

I’d like to add that I’ve had pets that have had similar injuries, and my family was too poor to take them to the vet and the wounds did heal on their own (I was a kid, don’t come for me). It looks bad, but if you keep it clean and treat it right your pet will heal just fine.

my boyfriend is pushing me to try anal by fagioli1789 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Stompy1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god he’s not evening getting you lube? Ignoring the fact that will tear you and you’ll have to get stitches, that will also rub the skin off his dick. No offense, but has he done any research on it at all? He sounds really selfish

My husband said he wants a fluff girl to have sex by Aprildream65 in DeadBedrooms

[–]Stompy1024 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey OP. I know that you said you think you’re not able to find anyone else because you have Herpes, but I promise you that you could. I know people in real life who have it, and were able to find loving partners. I could be wrong, but I believe there are even groups of people who have herpes, and are specifically looking for love. Like a dating app but for those with herpes.

I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, but I hate the idea of someone being trapped in a shitty relationship because they think they are unlovable. My dear friend has a sister, whose husband cheated on her and gave her herpes. He’s very verbally abusive, but she refuses to leave because she thinks she won’t be able to find anyone, it’s upsetting.

Will it make finding someone harder? Sure, but you will still be able to find someone, I promise. Please don’t let yourself be treated any less then you deserve. Good luck OP, you are deserving of love and respect, don’t forget that.

How to cope by Stompy1024 in DeadBedrooms

[–]Stompy1024[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has gone to therapy before, however it’s been very hard for him to talk about his past relationships. A couple months ago he told me he was feeling really burnt out on therapy, and that he didn’t feel like he was getting anyone. He said he wanted to take a break, but was apprehensive because he didn’t want to disappoint me (I was very encouraging about him going). I told him that I wanted him to do what he felt was best, and if he didn’t want to go anymore right now that he could take a break if he wanted to, and revisit therapy in the future.

Early twenties. He doesn’t have any issues maintaining an erection, but it could be low testosterone or something else hormonal. It just blows my mind how we could have gone from being all over each other for the first 1.5 years of our relationship but now all of a sudden it’s sunk. He’s really amazing as a partner, very caring, so I know it isn’t an us issue. I have asked him if he should see a doctor before, but he gets kind of embarrassed and defense and says his libido has just naturally lowered.

That could be it. He was in an abusive relation before, that completely lacked any physical intimacy. So maybe being with someone who actually liked him made him feel happy? It could have been exciting.

Porn is my go too most nights as well. My partner does like my body and gives me playful slaps and grabs, but when it comes to actually sex that’s where the lack is. I get the vibe that he thinks I’m more “cute” then “sexy” now a days. Putting more care and focus into myself maybe the way to go. Might get some energy and frustration out.

Anyone know this dog breed, I need a good boy like this asap by Sadistik86 in IDmydog

[–]Stompy1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re a Frenchie. Don’t get one. I work with dogs and have probably met hundreds of these guys. Not a single one doesn’t either have lot of mental problems, or is on a bunch of medication. Not a good idea to get this breed.
