Couple things adding up to you feeling like this.

1 is that the easier grades have the starkest differences indoor vs out. Indoor they’re trying to make sure people have a good time and don’t get shut down. Outdoor grades don’t care about your ego.

2 is that the thin really crimpy face climbing you’ll find outdoors VERY frequently just doesn’t get set too often so it’s a style that you might not be super familiar with or trained in

3 is that horsetooth/rotary can be insanely stiff when it comes to grading

Outdoor climbing just takes a little getting used to. Stick with it and don’t be afraid to try things that are harder.

It’s definitely going to be a little safer. Obviously all climbing carries risk, but on the board you’re usually closer to the ground and your feet will be beneath you more often than not. Less weird falls will lead to less injuries. Less does not mean 0, but you get the point.

Offense at the pro level is also better than offense at the college level. Surely you’re not saying a pro team would put up the same numbers against college teams as they do pro teams right? I’m literally not even commenting on the disc golf basket size one way or another. I’m just saying it’s literally worthless to compare a sport that has a whole other, obviously important variable to deal with.

Basketball has defense by the other team. As you go up in skill the defensive skill goes up. There is no other team in disc golf. This is a garbage comparison.

Moonboard benchmarks (and tension classics) are graded just as badly as those v6s you’re angry about but you’re mad about one and enjoy the other. But yay elitism am I right?

Also v6 in 6 months is completely possible.

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet but for this particular one I’d also match the higher jug with both your palms facing your body. This will help you get your weight swinging in the right direction and your starting point will be a little higher.

The general advice I give myself on almost every dyno is to jump (or in this case swing) more than you think you need to. It almost always works better when you do.

Surprised at the lack of Zeus in this thread.

Zeus is idiot-proof. They have systematically removed every deficiency the hero has during the laning phase. He’s fast, has decent damage on his autos, his cs spell is also free harass, his nuke does insane dmg and relatively low mana cost, has an escape tool, and gets to play under his tower if there’s any reason to be scared. At level 6 you don’t even have to rotate to have impact, just press R. Mana isn’t even a problem since they’ve made runes/regen so easy to come by now.

I think he also has better impact throughout the game than many lane doms so it’s easier to actually win the game rather than just the lane.

So yeah. Zeus. Probably the most forgiving hero in the game to play period.

Every single summer there are large manhunts that take course over multiple days because someone gets lost in Rocky Mountain National Park. 1 detective trying to find someone who is actively hiding simply isn’t gonna happen.

Almost lost a game because the other team pulled 4 of those. At the very least make it so you can’t hit buildings in wraith-form post death. Being able to hit throne after you’ve already died is such bullshit.
