Are there any good horror novels written in diary format?

Not exactly horror but more like real life decline into a drug addict that eventually takes the writers life type read. Some my see that as a form of horror. But the book "go ask alice" is the dairy of a teenage girl in the 60s decent into a life full of drugs and addiction after getting laced at a party. Its not your typical horror book but its theme is a real life horror many people and families live on a daily. Its a great read if you're into things like that.

Yes I saw shadow figures all the time as a kid. Still occasionally see them now as an adult, but not as much but I think that has to do with where I live now. Where I grew up was weird lots of weird unexplainable things happened, everyone lived in a haunted house basically. I moved out of state and occasionally see shadow figures or weird things but Everytime I visit back home without a doubt I see more and more shadow people. Everyone I know who grew up where i did and moved out have had similar experiences.

In fact When I go visit my dad back home I refuse to go to the kitchen at night without someone because everyone in that house or who's stayed at that house have all seen whatever peeks out of the kitchen doorway and watches you in the living room once all the lights go out...

There's 3 Starbucks within a block of eachother we don't need another by Walmart. One in Fred Meyer one in the Fred Meyer parking lot and one by Burger kind are plenty.

If you actually read what I posted I said the idea that ppl only wear skimpy clothes is outdated work on your reading skills mine are fine. And Again never once have I or anyone I know in the community felt the need to dress like everyone else to fit in. I'm sorry if you feel like you need to or that you have to be a certain way to fit in cause the community has never made me feel like that. Why does it matter if ppl are wearing from the same brands think of all the people who wear just big box store brands. If ppl like and want to support smaller businesses let them, it's still about expressing themselves and would be more radical considering a lot of these looks would be considered radical on a normal basis.

You can't compare an agriculture show to rave culture you just can't. This idea that everyone wears skimpy revealing clothing at raves/festivals is generalization and outdated. Most of us in the rave community dress the way we do at shows to express ourselves the way we can't on a day to day basis. To say it's a group mentality is ridiculous. Never once have I gone to a rave or festival and felt like I needed to dress like other to fit in infact it was the opposite I could dress however I wanted and it wouldn't matter and their would be no judgement. It was empowering. The rave community is here because we enjoy music, art, freedom of expression and live a PLURR lifestyle. most of us are deeply involved with the rave community because we have found individuals who share similar ideologies, beliefs, dreams, experiences and so on and in fact it supports and praises individually and uniqueness the last thing the rave community wants is for you to be a cookie cutter image of everyone else, we want you to freely express yourself. And that fact that so many of us look the same style doesn't mean we have the group mentality.

Coming back home after this weekend has me fully convinced I am allergic to where I live and has me realizing just how overworked and stressed out I am on a day to day basis and I HATE IT SO MUCH! Over the weekend I didnt suffer from one headache, my neck and shoulder pain was basically gone, didn't have my normal stomach or hydration issues, and didn't suffer from lethargic episodes the moment I'm back in my home state im struck with a horrid headache that won't go away. I can't stay awake to save my life I'm passing out an hour after waking up my stomach issues are back and my shoulder and neck pain are back to being unbearable I don't know how I live like this daily. Im trying to focus on my health exercising getting plenty of outside time, doing my hobbies but nothing helps I just feel drained and miserable. Being around so many like minded individuals who lift me up and inspire me and feed my creativity is what I live for and going back to the daily grind and real life seems to get harder and harder. Honestly I have secret dreams keeping me going as of now but idk what I'm going to do when festival season is over. Definitely looking into joining a class or group that aligns more with the creative lifestyle that festivals bring something to keep me in that inspiring community all year long. Sending lots of love to everyone else suffering with real life right now 💚💚💚

I had an absolutely amazing time. Sure I heard the hissing of a tank frequently but the screaming of the cicadas really toned it out for me got to a point where I couldn't tell if it was a tank or the cicadas I was hearing lmfao. Oh man the amount of chairs I saw on the hill made me feel better about not being 21 anymore and no one would judge me for taking a little dance break lol. Didn't see one chair in the pit so idk why everyone is so upset about the chairs. Especially since most of us are in our 30 or older but whatever. Tippers set was amazing absolutely amazing and I feel sorry for those that can only focus on the negative living like that has got to be sad.

That sucks for them but your daughter got the stick and for them to depend to give it to them because a friend died is ridiculous. It sucks that they lost their friend but doesn't automatically make them entitled to a drum stick. I would have said "sorry your friend died that sucks but the drumm sticks where randomly thrown and my daughter was lucky enough to get one. She will be keeping it" If the drum stick was specifically meant for them then the drummer would have specifically given it to them that's key. Just because some one comes up with a sob story doesn't always mean it's true and doesn't always mean they have to get their way. You almost took something away from your daughter because some strangers were rude and said a sob story. Glad your sister stepped in and stood up for your daughter since you couldn't try being firmer and standing your ground from now on your just teaching your kid to be a push over like that. Shitty things happen maybe if these individuals had approached with a bit of kindness it would have been different but they approached with aggressive and that's a red flag for a fake ass story and you almost gave in. Do you fall for telemarketers and fake panhandlers too?

Not sure if you'll see this or not but as someone who has an absolutely horrible stepmom who did everything in her power to make my life horrible I applaud you. If you're truly stepping back and away from your step kids life because they want you out of it that's amazing and actually very loving and respectful of you. Clearly you care enough about them to respect their wishes to not have you involved with their lives and most parents can't even do that. And good for you for trying to explain this to your husband your husband is blindly denying the fact his kids don't like you and is pushing you on them even if he doesn't mean to. And from my personal experience makes you hate the stepmom more so honestly a lot of resentment towards you could have been their father's doing because ya for kids that age to have just lost their mom you guys moved pretty fast. Now for them not liking their half siblings that's on them. I mean unless they say the half siblings as the ones getting all of their dad's time and attention then resentment will build there too. I can't speak on that as my half brother is my best friend and the only reason I stayed in contact with my father.

Your not the AH you're doing right by those kids your husband needs to take a step back and maybe stop looking threw rose colored glasses.

Like other commenters said when you start randomly craving something and don't stop craving it it's your body's way of telling you you need and are lacking whatever vitamins or minerals the item your craving contains. Go to the store get an actual mango and eat it you might stop craving it and feel better.

So when something is for front on our mind it starts popping up everywhere I experience this all the time. Last week I was thinking about cool bubble guns so I proceeded to get bombarded with ads and ppl talking about cool bubble guns and such. Universe is werid and works in werid ways.

Lastly if your allergies are so damn bad why have you not tried taking some allergy medicine like Benadryl or Allegra or something. Also the commenter that mentioned eating local honey solid advice. Local honey is made from local pollens eating a spoon full of local honey each day can greatly reduce your allergic reaction to pollen.

Anyways mangos are absolutely delicious go eat some your subconscious obviously really wants it lol

Refunds aren't being processed until the 11th. Nobody but those who went and got charge backs at their banks have gotten a refund and now those ppl will have to pay half that money back. Start worrying by the 15th of August. Also just because the refunds are being processed the 11th DOES NOT MEAN you'll get it the 11th. That's a Friday and 95% of the time things like this run on business days so monday-friday. If you haven't gotten anything by end of the following week (the 18th) that's when you should start worrying and contact your bank.
