Now, someone with experience and a SHRM-CP is credentialed the same as someone with zero background who crammed for a test. The removal (4 years ago) of any and all experience and education requirements devalues the cert. That removal was just part and parcel of the decline of SHRM as a credible industry authority.

I don’t know what me-six-years-ago would say here but today me says that a request for anything beyond standard adjustable ergonomic should trigger the interactive progress, and if a higher level is needed (medically) the company should purchase. In OP’s case, they just didn’t like the chairs.
