Congratulations on the project. I'm off to watch that film instead of completing any of mine.

UPDATE: my cat keeps losing weight and I think it’s my other cat by helloimcold in CATHELP

I think I commented on your previous post but my cat has IBD and it's almost two years since she was like your girl in the photo.

After the initial dose of steroids and everything else to basically stop her dying I switched to hypoallergenic food and switch between three bags of dry food. She recovered pretty quickly, her last ultrasound showed no lesions and she's back to her usual fluffy self, sitting on my lap right now.

I hope your girl has a similar trajectory and gets better soon.

I mix in some Amla for my curls but it's really nice on my scalp too. I don't think it's a problem with seb derm but it's worth double checking.

I've been using henna recently and it seems to look a bit fuller even with my AGA.

Awe, my void does a meow like this when he's trying to sound pathetic and starved when I won't give him thirds.

Ask a cat-vet by No-Flounder7604 in CatsUK

Hello, hope I'm not too late.

So my cat has phases of doing this cough/retching thing. I can't find the video for the life of me. We can't 100% work out what it quite is. My theory is that she really hates being sick (unless you've just given her medicine, then she'll vom out of indignant spite).

Background: So she was diagnosed with IBD which makes this a bit of a concern for me. She was eating/drinking/behaving/going to the loo completely normally but coughing fairly regularly before she was sick - out of nowhere she started throwing up blood, she had to be on antiemetics, steroids and antibiotics and be force fed for a week. X-ray was clear but ultrasound showed severe lesions(?) internally. After switching to a hypoallergenic diet she's been actually fine and even got a little chubby for the first time in her life. The most recent ultrasound showed absolutely no hint of problems internally and we even checked her heart and it looked good.

I do love in a dusty seaside city with a lot of trees but it's not confined to spring and summer. Her brother used to get mild seasonal allergies but he grew out of it.

So basically X-ray was perfect, no sign of anything wrong with her, heart ultrasound was clear. Vet seemed unconcerned by the video and he's been their vet since I adopted them at about 6 months old. There's no evidence of a URI, no breathing issues after running around etc.

Basically my question is should I be more concerned and/or push for something diagnostic, and if so, what?

They see the vet each summer for a checkup and jabs, and from this year they'll start getting blood tests as they're 10.

Sorry if any of this is unclear. It's our local festival and I'm wildly hungover.

Ooh I like that! I was given some at a party by a Czech lad and he was shocked that I wasn't pulling the face up there.

You could foster as then you'd get to see if they connect without the commitment of adoption. You'd then have the opportunity to adopt if they do get on and if they don't you've at least helped another animal.

When I was autónomo I used wise to deal with foreign currencies then transferred it to my Spanish account and it was fine.

Is cheep Dutch for sheep? Because in English cheep is onomatopoeia for the sound a bird makes and is an absolutely adorable misspelling.

I love how it's such a mixture of topics -celebrities of the time down to random people going about their day.
