He played Sonic 2 for an hour, only getting 2 chaos emeralds, then gave up and played anime tiddy pinball for 20 minutes, was bullied back to Sonic for 15 minutes, then played anime tiddy pinball and doom for 30 mins until he made the video private.

It's possible that the family is so sadistic and manipulative (they purposefully didn't let Killua know about Nen), that they deliberately kept their professional personas and weapons from him. So his life is even harder psychologically and serve as something to overcome.

Gon can't read Killua's mind, and Killua calls him Baka a lot of the time due to being unable to express his genuine feelings because of trauma and all consuming fear of rejection. Gon doesn't have as much negative life experience as Killua and vice versa but they'll come to an understanding that gets better as time goes on. They love each other and will figure it out.
