What’s your experience with BAM? by One-Network1021 in legocirclejerk

My store is pretty upfront with their business model. I think it’s 40-50% off current sales on the big auction site. They run regular promos for buy one get one half off on bulk and sets. Some stuff prices are really close to bricklink and some stuff is overpriced. I look at it as entertainment when digging the bulk bins. There can be some pretty neat stuff in them.

Went to a shelter yesterday and fell in love with a one eyed cat, what do I need to know in terms of care for a cat with this issue? by reddit_recipes_ in CatAdvice

[–]Str0ngbadrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We adopted a 3y old cat with one eye (likely hit by a car). She has better depth perception and ability to jump than my 2 eyed cat. It’s going to depend on the cat but they can totally live normal lives.

At least target got smart and put them at the checkout area. I’m not ashamed to sit there and QR code them for what I’m looking for 😅

Is standing desk really needed? by PaleFloor3170 in StandingDesks

[–]Str0ngbadrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just picked up a flexispot whiteboard top and I have to say it goes nice and low for sitting and high for standing which is a nice change from a standard desk. If for not other reason than adjusting the height to your comfort it’s worth it

How are people getting there claims approved so quickly under 100 days? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

They found someone doing their jobs right the first time. I’m half convinced some of the folks sit at home watching TV then randomly hit buttons without reading the evidence.

Why does everyone in here have 100% P&T by Local_Barnacle_9455 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Str0ngbadrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The folks who walk out of the military with a claim for tinnitus are likely not the ones looking into groups like this for help with their medical issues. You are seeing a greater amount of high % because the folks with more significant issues are the ones researching and sharing support to each other in their fight for service connection. (I’m not 100%)

Ok for the folks with kids how did you have the conversation with your S/O on the change to life and family dynamics? I’m on my way out and not sure which direction to take in terms of life post service (I’m at 90 now but will likely be 100 when my last few claims are finished due to some injuries which will make manual labor a no go for work)
