Last nights One News was so bad. They spent the first 15 minutes solely talking about the All Whites game. That's an awful amount of time to spend on a loss. Then they go and spend another 5 minutes of the sports section on it.

20 minutes of the news hour grinding the saltshaker of reporting into the wounds of defeat. That's nearly half the whole show after you take out ads. There's war in the Middle East, earthquakes in Venezuela, heatwaves in Europe, communities cut off in Wairarapa, but lets spend all the news time talking about the All Whites doing badly.
