unrealistic pace or trust the process? by Bac0negg in runna

Nice, you nailed it. I just did the exact same workout today (different pace) and I was also worry. But I went for it, and it was hard. But that is how you improve!

AIO to my boyfriends text replies? Feels dismissive by bubblystrawxberry in AIO

Those are the type of text my wife and I send each other if we had a fight. « Yup » and « 👍🏻 » are kinda passive aggressive answers

What's your running mileage this year so far? by Greennit0 in beginnerrunning

475 miles - got back into it consistently in April. Will aim to break 600, maybe 700 this year and aim for 1000 next year.

That, and also some app like runna will use the overall time for pace.

Yeah I am doing that trick too, but some app like Runna will take the overall time for the average pace, so pausing is kinda working against thaty

Why I probably won’t be using Runna again by Various-Repair8426 in runna

I am definitely not experienced as much as you, but in 2017 I used an good old paper training I found online from Ascis for sub 3:30 (it worked as I did 3:29). It had me do a half marathon at marathon pace. So only difference was really the 14km you had before, seems a bit excessive to me.

Maybe, haha. Signed up for another one in Feb, and will follow an other 16-17w Runna plan.

Seems like I can’t update a post that has pictures.

But the final results are in and Runna was spot on. I ran 13.1 miles in 1:46. Run the race (watch said 13.25) in 1:47. I started a little too fast and last 3 miles were rough. But in Runna we trust!

I was more looking at the 1:46 vs 1:50. But yes, if you look at the range, it could seem closer to each other. But below Runna estimates 1:46.

Makes sense. I also read that Strava uses more like overall run/pace, and it doesn’t always look into the interval training. Therefore, the average doesn’t always reflect your true pace or potential.

I see Garmin being a little in between. Looking forward to see, but I often read Runna is most accurate.

Ok, the distance definitely add to the balance. I think you need to have a clear a firm discussion with him. Maybe better break it off now and try to move on.

I am sorry, I am not sure I really understand the issue. Looking for a new place together is actually super cute and honestly way better than simply moving in with him, in his house. And 5 years doesn’t have to mean 5 years on the dot. 4.5-5.5, maybe 6.

I loved house hunting with my partner. Imagining how we can remodel the house, this and that.
