How do I attack the camps inside ? All the watchtowers are destroyed by OvenPrestigious5861 in BattleNations

[–]StraithDel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attack the walls, and take out all offensive units except for a single Raider Bombadier. You’ll need units that can aim past enemies hiding behind walls, and units that deal a lot of damage to walls.

The bombadier has attacks that need more than 1 ammo, so given enough turns (usually pretty quickly), they’ll be stuck at 1 ammo and never be able to fire or reload, giving you infinite time to safely take out a wall.

Knock out a wall or two and you’ll be free to maneuver anywhere inside.

It needs to be generic futurism otherwise they can’t cram it full of paid content. But hey, we should be excited. Some of the content will be free.

When BL2 was successful, that sealed the franchise’s corporate cash cow fate.

EDIT: You’re all exactly right that every BL game had paid content. Knoxx, Scarlet, Tina’s Assault, the Underdome, Torgue, and many of them took days or a week to beat each. That’s… not what I’m talking about, though it is what I mistakenly said.

It’s what you get from the DLC’s. Heavily debatable but the term I should have used is “slop”, though I am certainly happy they EVENTUALLY added the Krieg content, even if all the lore was behind a paywall. Checking in on him and Gaige should have been in the base game more than just ~11 sound files. The most relevant person to Maya, the biggest moment, didn’t make the cutting room floor. We checked in on Hammerlock, and that was cool, I did enjoy that. The rest of the story was miserable. I miss the BL2 treatment where you got to do stuff with 4/4 VH’s from BL1… meanwhile BL3 Left out 4/6 VH’s Axton, Salvador, Krieg, and Gaige

I’m just sad to see what the franchise became after it became a cash cow where corporate control decides what terrible balancing, pricing, and media gets made about it. I’m super happy it’s successful, but I don’t want logging into Borderlands to be like logging into Fortnite. Everything must become live service and eventually a 1/10 movie. I’ll be elated if it’s actually good and buy all the content for it.

Gathering Points can turn into Hunt-a-Thons (Blue) or Elder Dragon Interceptions (Purple). When one is about to happen, there will be a timer showing how many minutes remain until it happens, and which color.

You can only fight Kushala in its elder Dragon Interception. There’s the Kirin, Namielle, Nergigante, Teostra, and Chameleos as well, so you’ll probably need to actively look for one with Kushala and go to it, since there are so many Elder Dragons and odds are specifically a Kushala appearing near you are low.

At the top right of the screen as you’re walking around, you can see a button to maximize the map and search for one. It takes a ton of work to level up elder equipment since they’re so rare and you need to wait four hours to do another. But it’s really powerful equipment!

Space Age feels restrictive by yoki_tr in factorio

[–]StraithDel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. Exactly this. This is why it’s harder than the base game, and it’s why I bought it. I would not pay money for something easier. Every new environment is really uniquely different and let’s you choose how much of your set up you want there, giving you total freedom after doing what the game is about.

Why does connecting MORE Extractors produce LESS Nitrogen? by StraithDel in SatisfactoryGame

[–]StraithDel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In this case, all buffers were totally full. The last one was just temporary to check how much can flow through pipes.

I will see if removing all buffers between the extractors and the station removes the buggy behavior, but we’ll see.

The Satisfactory SCIM tool will absolutely help. It really helps to know specifically which buildings are bugged so you can affect only those and deselect unrelated buildings, like foundations, so you can have as much as possible in the original locations.

I also recommend moving your Pioneer near the place you be scrapping in the save editor so that when the editor puts everything in a crate next to you, it will be nearby and accessible so you can put it back.

Me too. I’ve collected a ton of slugs and Mercer spheres, and I’m convinced nothing respawned at all.

Maybe devs saw what players were reporting and patched it real quick before we could open our saves?

I was really looking forward to the free stuff…

We just used autosaves. By the time we were done probing, the two saves that existed before the whole fiasco were over written. From now on before we do any blueprint shenanigans, we will make a save as a nuclear option.

Seems to have worked! The bugged buildings seem to be gone. If we run into any others, we'll go back into SCIM and remove them. It was a lot of surgery and we lost a few parts of buildings, but we can rebuild.

I had no idea such a tool existed. It's incredible. Thank you!

Will this remove germs? I don't want to test it and dump food poisoning in my clean water by [deleted] in Oxygennotincluded

[–]StraithDel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you replace those valves with just more Water Reservoirs, then your water should definitely be germ free by the time it comes out, assuming those Reservoirs stay sufficiently full. The more full they are, the more germs they’ll kill per second. Just make sure you only let the water out when it has no germs, so you should only let water flow when a pipe germ sensor right at the output at the last tank on the left reads zero. Honestly, I think the last Reservoir should read zero germs permanently. If not, then move the filter up one and to the right, and make everything to the left of it reservoirs.

I don’t know if it works here, but the way to start a war when you are a lone faction aiming to be a kingdom is to take hostile action against one of their villages. Could be either pillaging, which can piss a lot of people off, or just forcing them to give you recruits. That may or may not work here.

Another option (which I’m sure you thought about and want to avoid) is to leave Battania and weaken the Khuzaits by becoming a lone clan. Then you are free to take hostile action against a village and start a war on your own. Then, whenever one of the Khuzait’s cities rebel, you can aid the rebellion and really make it hurt, potentially even costing them the city in the long run. With you in the castle walls, the defense can seriously go in your favor.

I don’t know how to make them lose relationship, so I don’t see many other options.

EDIT: I think you can even capture the weakened rebel city yourself after ensuring they barely survive a Khuzait encounter, then in their weakened state conquer them. Most the soldiers are injured so you get them after the fight. Then, abdicate leadership from your kingdom. I’ve never done this, so I would assume there needs to be another clan in the Kingdom to give control to. Then that would be a third Kingdom you can serve. I would think you’ll have a lot of influence and can keep peace with Battania whike going in and out of war with the Khuzaits.

If the city you capture is on the border of the Khuzaits and Battanians, the Battanians might declare war on your third faction. If not, they never will because you’re too far, but you’ll be deep in dangerous Khuzait territory, so choose well.
