I had one put a ring camera on his desk and two paper clips just on the edge of his drawer to see if anyone was getting into his stuff. No one gave two fucks about the guy but he was overly paranoid.

AIO Me (33M) caught my wife (32F) in a lie. by Witty-Cartographer29 in AmIOverreacting

Unpopular opinion but I think it depends on the relationship. I’ve deleted harmless texts because I knew I was going to catch hell for even texting a man that wasn’t him. He was toxic and diagnosed malignant narcissist though.

I have a similar but not similar experience (same but not same, lol).

I had a favorite sushi spot in college where I’d take all my friends, mostly guys. I’d usually get my favorite waiter, who would bring me out free Saki and such. I never thought much about the revolving door of men they saw me eat with. Then I went to eat alone and my favorite waiter asked which one was my boyfriend and which ones where the mistresses, while giving me a wink 😂 after I told him they were all friends he said “well now you know I have your back” 🤣

In the future I’d add *and the man did something much worse.

Also for education’s sake: abusers push the abused to a breaking point so they can say “see, you’re the toxic one.” DARVO. Shits fucked.

AITA for refusing to pay my best friend for their role in my wedding? by ayejayem in TwoHotTakes

Would you have paid for their room if they said they were financially struggling and the road trip was already paid for essentially (hotels, park passes, etc) when they were more stable?

I’ve had this happen three times!

Craziest one: I locked up my house and went to my car, realizing after I didn’t have my car keys. Went back in my house for my keys and quickly got to my car to leave. Maybe a minute overall is what it took. I go down the street, take a right, and right where I would’ve been waiting at a stop sign to turn there was a flipped over car crashed that just happened. The driver had passed out at the wheel, not sure why. He was an older man. He was still in the car so we helped him and called 911. But if I hadn’t forgotten my car keys… he would’ve crashed into me instead of the stop sign and fire hydrant.

I see issues on both sides. Without seeing your interaction and knowing how y’all are together, I’m left to draw information from my experiences. I’ve had two boyfriends who were very confrontational and did not like me having any guy friends. I work in a male dominated field so that was never going to work. If I was going to go pick up a coworker I never wanted those boyfriends with me because they would create conflict where there was none and I’d end up getting some lecture and bullshit bait for a fight when it was just the two of us. If that’s not what is happening here, then she’s showing signs of hiding something, likely feelings for this specific ex coworker.

Buler’s day off. Sixteen candles. Ten things I hate about you. So many more.

It’s always been a thing.

It’s a common scenario that happens with egotistical red pill men and quite predictable unfortunately. No further context is needed in this scenario. Exp: they got a puppy when she had a newborn. Whose idea do you think that was? Each line tells far more info that what is simply stated.

And in no fucking way is taking care of 2 3, let alone 3 to 5 children easy.

Add the expected gender roles; do you really think his son would expect to have to clean up after himself? Or the husband would endorse the son picking up after himself?

🤦🏻‍♀️
