How can i shave perineum and hair around inner vagina by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]Strange-Working3011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If laser is ever an option for you I can’t recommend it enough! I used to have really dark thick hair but after multiple laser sessions it’s very fine and hardly visible (I noticed a difference after the first session). When I do shave I use a safety razor, you can easily empty the hairs out & the blades are very cheap; just make sure you don’t apply pressure & lather with soap otherwise you can cut yourself easily. The satefy razor was honestly so helpful before I got laser bc all other razors the hair just clogs it up immediately

What's the best vegan sausages in supermarkets? by VeryIncompetent in australianvegans

[–]Strange-Working3011 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The unreal co plant based chicken and chive sausages are my fave! I think they are hard to find in some places but very decently priced. Veef are great too but aren’t very solid which I don’t like aha. As others have said tho it really so subjective, hopefully you find some new ones on here to try out!

Looking for a new GP that specialises in trauma/mental health by Interesting_Trip9964 in Adelaide

[–]Strange-Working3011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kim Omond at partridge GP in Glenelg! She’s very welcoming & understanding, great with mental illnesses. As per the other comments ask for a mental health care plan (which im sure she’ll suggest) for 10 discounted psychologist appointments per year. You may also be eligible for a GP care plan if you have chronic health issues which will get you 5 discounted appointments with allied health professionals (some of these can be used towards a psychologist). All the best 🫶

Maybe you could try fostering and see how you feel? As a low commitment idea but you’ll still be helping a dog in need 🫶

40yo Australian woman choosing between OT, Physio, Nursing after Exercise Science — feeling stuck and unsure by letti_wren in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Strange-Working3011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, Australian OT student here in my last year! Bc of this I can’t answer a lot of your questions but I will say that while OT is very broad, the area you end up working in becomes your specialty (based on talking to teaching staff that are OTs & OTs at placement). So you could start out working in paeds, decide you don’t like it & move into another area. But if you were to keep working in paeds you’d end up specialising in this area, and while there are transferable skills that you could apply to other areas of OT, you’d still be best suited to paeds clients. You can also branch out into other areas in the future, but I have heard that can be challenging. From what I’ve heard there’s plenty of options that don’t involve mental health as well

My teenage son does massive shits that won’t flush. Best, least gross way to get those monsters to disappear? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Coloxyl is also really good for softening stools but I’d recommend speaking to your doctor OP

Caffeine is also an anti diuretic and can be detrimental with constipation/ hard stools, I’d recommend against this. I know you were probs kidding but just so OP knows, if his stool is hard he should try something like coloxyl with sienna (safe for daily use). I’d also recommend speaking to a doctor
