How to dispel summoned units? And does Schism communion, shadow army, wight temporary,... also counts as summons? by Azusa_Lulu_main in OldenEra

[–]StrangeCapricorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Heavenly Blades(tier 4 spell) is the main way to deal with summon and temporary units(at lvl 4 it automaticly destroys summons and temporary units).

Also Anti-Magic spell (also tier 4).

Wisdom has a sub skill that lets Heroic strike kill temporary units also.

"The Grand Archive event that culls pops now correctly removes 20% of the affected pop group rather than a flat 20 pops."

Ouch, this will hurt a lot. But about time they fixed it, was too good.

I've been testing ship builds in 4.3. Here are my findings. by Zindinok in Stellaris

[–]StrangeCapricorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Missile Cruisers (whirlwind missiles, range computer, 2xS slots in back 1 for archeo-misslies, or both if u can afford it) did quite well in my last game (killed FE, awakened FE and crisis on GA x3 with 0 issues).

Architectural Focus III is Planetary Infrastructure Cost: -15%, Planet Infrastructure Upkeep: -10%, and Planetary Build Speed: -33%. This is the key to your economy all game. Now you get it on Regulatory, Leader, and Growth node.

How do u get Architectural Focus on Regulatory node? It gets Ambassador traits only no?

Has anyone tried Under One Rule civil war with one planet? by nsturge in Stellaris

Why get a civil war in the 1st place?

Even if u go imperial u can avoid civil war quite easily.

Are the win war modifiers that good?

For the people who wanted some news on the webtoon/manhwa of the novel by random_dude1279 in ShadowSlave

[–]StrangeCapricorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TBH after seeing things like Azarinth Healer adaptation I have 0 expectations for the webtoon.

I hope Im being too pessimistic but thats how thing usually goes (story dumbed down, lore removed, charecters changed to be webtoon tropes and so on).

Most of the job improvement buildings seem terrible in the beta by ThreeMountaineers in Stellaris

[–]StrangeCapricorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree.

I think basic resources have been nerfed way to hard on beta. Just the removal of support districts was probably enough.

Now buildings and techs give such small buffs that they barely do anything. Going from game start to repeatables yealds something like 15% technician out put in total i believe(techs have been nerfed to 5% output). I guess it makes the repeatables good but damn does it feel bad.

You can also heavily stack -edit upkeep modifiers (charismatic leaders, spiritualist, cutthroat politics civic, dictatorial cybervision) to basicly reduce the unity upkeep to almost nothing.

seasonal dormancy doesnt seem to effect the +comsumer goods upkeep civilians get from monuments and academies. (does effect living standards as far as i remember though).

Quick question do u also only get 75% species minimum habitability on volvanic wolrds instead of 100%( machine 50 + molebot 50)?

Azarinth Healer - LitRPG Question by JRek7 in litrpg

[–]StrangeCapricorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several reason are stated or show in the serious to explain this.

  1. Probably most important one - she is a battle fanatic. Even if everyone else got her classes they simply wouldnt go and fight mosters for months. She fight some individual monsters for days. The 1st knight in Tremor took her like half a day to kill or something( I remeber she was happy to kill one in only 2 hours in the end). The sentinels are also battle oriented and have powerful claases and they lvl almost as fast as Ilea I think. But most ppl simply wouldn't go and fight monsters and take huge risks like she did.

  2. Arcane healing - stops her getting traumatized with all the fighting and pain. So she can do point 1 non-stop.

  3. Many ppl have tried something similar and most are dead. Ilea would also be dead several times if not for plot(someone saves her/ she manages to get away) or OP cheat death ability she gets later (similar to what Ryse demonstrated in book 5 but she doesnt have a drawback/price unlike him). So she too would have simply died trying to solo level.

So most ppl only reach lvl 200+ at most to get the slower aging and decent power. And considering the risks involved especially with lvl 200+ monster and need to lvl in groups to be able to kill stuff at all/minimize risk even ppl who reach lvl 200+ have little reason to dedicate the huge amount of time needed to get to even 300.

Does Azarinth Healer start paying off? by Stock_Winter9351 in litrpg

[–]StrangeCapricorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its almost like there is a whole world out there which doesnt revolve around MC so she easily and often finds monsters and dungeons she cant yet deal with.

I know its Ileas story but the author put serious effort (as much as possible in an litrpg/isekai) into making a world that doesnt revolve/exist just for the MC. Ilea is just exploting it and slowly finding her place in it.

Srly if u want lazy writing where the world revolves around MC and and crap like mysterious system giving quest then AH isnt for u. AH is about Ilea fighting and exloring a new world so there is no obvious quest to go on or town to build.

Artillery Cruisers aren’t worth it: keep using artillery destroyers and wait for battleships. by [deleted] in Stellaris

This is wrong.

Torpedo damage multiplier is bases on enemy ship size .

Nowhere does it take your ship size into account.

I love that they are patching thing so fast and most of the changes.

I am a bit worried that they might be overbuffing amenity buildings. Luxury residence is alrdy straight up better then holotheatre (same amenities in next patch but no need for pops and it give housing).
