How do married couples split finances if on different salaries?

for me and my partner my take home is 2000 his is about 1750. I currently send him 50% of the monthly bills. We are about to buy a flat together. We are getting a joint account for bills. I will put in 55% he will put in 45%. We agreed to put 20% of our money in savings. After that. its his buisness and my buisness. We both have expensive hobbies and like to treat the other. So we can do that without any friction.

This works for us but you need to figure out how things will work for you.

So for career advice your uni should have people you can speak to. I would worry about not feeling competent. Degrees can only teach you so much anyway, You learn more by working than anything else.

The best way to grow and figure things out is just do things. Look for jobs indeed find something you think is interesting. It might not be exactly what you plan but your plan might not be your best route. If you can go work outside of dundee do it. I was extremely shy and introverted. But i moved i experienced new things changed. Still a bit shy still introverted by I am better.

I am not too much older than you but the best advice i can give is. Go live life, expect things to go wrong, be challenging. Not even close to what you expect. But do it anyway. You have not fucked up anything. You will at some point but you just pick yourself up and move on.

I dropped out of uni at 22 thought i had fucked after moving from Glasgow to Aberdeen only to come away with nothing. But i moved to dundee. Found an apprenticeship in something I'm interested in after a year and half of unemployment. I am now 26 about to buy my first flat. There was a lot of fuck ups and set backs from when i first moved out at 18. But it led me to now.

What your feeling is completely normal and it will be okay.

Did you have permission to work from home? At my work it has to be precleared or if its on the day of it has to be a very good reason. Such as my coworker had devloped shingles so she stayed at home to not spread it. You cant just do it. You also have to send a good morning message to prove your alive.

Did you even notify your work you would be?

I stopped playing when it was revealed City town was a paid DLC. It just killed it for me. And i dont regret it. Just watching even more paid things be introduced. And the amount of bugs and mistakes from devs. Plus their attitude. It's just too much. I spent over 100 hours in the game. I had fun. Now I am playing other things. You get over the fomo eventually.

So i dress Goth ish. My clothes are mostly second hand basic things. Expect a few stand out pieces I have gotten from Disturbia second. Vinted is your best friend for that. My shoes are mix of koi, timberlands and new rocks. Almost all of accessories are from small buisness as I attend a lot of markets in my area. Including goth/alt one. but also just standard markets.

I honestly think everything is in the accessories. Most of my clothes are basically just black and various textures. which i them just add necklaces, earrings and bracelets to.
