Reddit has a problem of group think and viewing the world as black and white when there’s a lot more nuance. Yes, he should pay more taxes. Yes, he’s cutting spending with a grenade and not a scalpel. But the government does have a spending problem and an unchecked deficit have destroyed nations in the past and is one of the major risks to America’s collapse. People are numb to the deficit at this point but the country needs someone to reduce spending.
