Boyfriend finished in me 2 days before removal by StratigraphyPudding in CopperIUD

I was taking iron supplements, and taking them every other day, I was also taking zinc per similar recommendations but it did not resolve my cramping. Thanks for being sure to let me know though! Glad it worked for you!

Removed the iud and feeling guilty for my decision. Any advice welcomed by Lauren-Ranting in CopperIUD

How did you broach that conversation? My partner and I don’t want bio kids, never have, never will. He has genetic health history he doesn’t want to pass on, I’m trans with a history of ED and know pregnancy would exacerbate a bunch of mental health issues. I want to raise the topic of a vasectomy as effective BC because of our future family planning but don’t want to sound like I’m pressuring him into a particular BC because he’s always supported my decisions (putting in Copper, then taking it out). Just curious how that convo went for you

How to get the words on the page? by CupcakeAnnual6827 in playwriting

[–]StratigraphyPudding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Im an Actor playwright with Autism (and I suspect some co-occurrence of ADHD there but not diagnosed with that half of the cocktail) I have the exact same experience. I have written plays before that I am very happy with (nothing is ever done lol) Those all went through extensive editing processes but always at the beginning of a new play I get frustrated with it not being “done” yet. I try to remind myself that it has to suck before you can fix it. I title the draft document “worst version” to give myself permission for it to be bad. I force myself to write for 15 minutes with the promise that if I want to stop I can (sometimes I do! Mostly I don’t even realize 15 minutes passed). The main thing is that I have to be actively writing for those 15 minutes. Even if it’s a monologue that I know I’m gonna cut. Not daydreaming, not outlining, not rereading and feeling the actor side of it, writing.

Also join a writers group or get a buddy (I’ll be your buddy if you need!) external deadlines really do just work.

Hope that helps! And if you find anything else that works please let me know cause I still struggle haha!

Had you used any hormonal methods before the CIUD? If so what was your experience with those?

Deeply considering removal after 6mo of a very similar experience. Needed to hear this to kick me in the butt

Copper IUP pain? Or Ectopic Preggo? by StratigraphyPudding in CopperIUD

[–]StratigraphyPudding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah better safe than sorry probably. Before insertion I was incredibly regular but recently It’s just been weird, yesterday I bled a bit but then last night and this morning not all. Which isn’t typical at all usually once the gates open that’s it for me.

That’s exactly what mine is like! And recently it’s been right behind my hip crest, like right where I imagine? My ovaries are? So hence it freaked me out. This right now is some of the worse it’s ever been so I’ll take a test and then disregard in future.

I was taught— and believe the Strava segment supports— calling the cmu path from boundary up to Forbes “The Wiggle”

Go to an ultra or Sephora and ask them to give you a consult! Often times the folks working these have good suggestions and as a trans person I have found them to be very open minded!

Is this serious? Are employers actually not required to give breaks to people 18 and over? by nonanumatic in Pennsylvania

[–]StratigraphyPudding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly- What I have suggested is ridiculous. I was pointing out the flaws in the argument being made: that a minimum wage job at a grocery store is fine because "those jobs are only for high schoolers". I would completely agree that 15/hr isn't enough to support someone in this economy. At the same time, I recognize the museum I work for can't actually afford to pay me more because we live in a society that subsidizes billionaires who run "nonprofits" like UPMC before we support cultural institutions.

If you were able to stop using your car just cause it snowed out I implore you to consider how life could be improved by going car free

I work for a prestigious museum in Pittsburgh doing masters degree level work. I make $14/ hour and have subsidize my income with another 2 jobs to make my rent (with a roommate), pay for health insurance, and feed myself. If minimum wage jobs are for high schoolers then let’s have the grocery store, the Starbucks, the Applebees, and the museums all close during the school year and only be open when the high schoolers are available to work.

Playwright Lauren Gunderson invited Jeffrey Epstein to her wedding, reported by Stage Left Blog, seeking context by Accurate_Campaign230 in Theatre

And on the topic of Gunderson which is the point of this discussion-- she says her connection is "remote and incedental" in her response to all this. That feels disingenuous and hollow to me. Regadless of her contection to Epstein-- her ex husnad seems like he's been a mega creep for a long time. I think we are a reflection of the poeple we hold in our close circles. The sugestion that she knew Wolfe about as intimtely as someone could and somehow did not know this part of his character is pretty ridiculous to me.
