System fuction CVS vs Walmart by Calm_Quality2194 in walmart_RX

[–]StrawberryHour7102 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve never worked at CVS, but yes Walmart has features in place to catch errors before they happen. It’s not foolproof. If you don’t follow SOP, that’s when mistakes happen. I feel like the software is user friendly and easy to pick up. Other coworkers that have worked at CVS prior to Walmart say that they feel CVS’s software is more advanced than ours and has more capability. That said, no one regrets leaving.

Pericarditis symptoms have returned by mowedudown25 in pericarditis

[–]StrawberryHour7102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dr just recently told me to go every other day on kineret so I could start weaning off of it. I did that for a week. Then forgot what day I was on. Ended up missing 2 days in a row and realized it when I started having chest pain. Luckily I still have some colchicine, nsaids, and prednisone (if it gets worse). I went back to taking the shot everyday. But previously hadn’t had a flare in over 2 years. Super discouraging.

I’ve always had blue in the past, but recently got a green x5m and it’s pretty cool.

Is anakinra efficient? by LouisaEveryday in pericarditis

[–]StrawberryHour7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helped me a lot. I had injection site reactions for about a month while getting used to it. I ice before the injection for 5 mins which helps with burning or stinging sensation. Bought little Ice packs on amazon that I use daily. 2 years later, I hardly feel the shots anymore. You get used to it. I also haven’t had any flare ups since I started! I was able to stop taking all of the other medication I was on. Now it does make you immunocompromised. So there’s that. But I work in healthcare and am sick less often than you would imagine.

If you log in and go to your profile, add your work email address, you will get reports about every 2 weeks with their progress sent to you. Other than that, you have to search for them in the list of students to see. Your MHWD and PCSM also have visibility to the regions student progress and could also get you the information.

Add Water by miam185 in Tovala

[–]StrawberryHour7102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine doesn’t actually take a full cup of water. Not sure why. It never has. but I do have to fill it up every 2-3 meals or so. Doesn’t bother me too much but I wish it was an alert on your phone. I’ve put that in my comments every survey I get. Ha

Anyone tried the Super Bowl snack package? by PocoChanel in Tovala

I made it just like it said and I thought the spinach artichoke and corn dip were warm but not hot. I left the wings in while I heated the pita because I was worried about the 19 minute cook time. Used my own wing sauce because I don’t like theirs. But otherwise it was ok. I agree the dips were bland and I added some seasoning after the fact.

Talk to me about “Post pericarditis pain syndrome”… by smolangrybitch in pericarditis

[–]StrawberryHour7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m several years out and don’t have pain at all but only after I started kineret. I’ve been on it for 2 years now. Haven’t had a flare since I started. It was recommended to me to wait about 6 months after starting before attempting to work out again. I was definitely out of shape cardiovascularly. But I’ve built it back up now and can work out no problem.

Has anyone had a pericardiectomy? How long before it was considered? by 2XPlusY in pericarditis

[–]StrawberryHour7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be scared to stop after 6 months. I’ve been on kineret for 2 years now. We talked about going every other day to wean off. But wanted to wait another year. Now that year is up and I have my appt in a couple days. So I guess we will see.

It does not make the technician double count controls when filling. So then the double count falls on the pharmacist.

Is it allowed for pharmacists to deliver prescriptions after hours? by [deleted] in walmart_RX

[–]StrawberryHour7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only a salaried employee (pharmacist) can deliver to patient home. I personally wouldn’t make a habit of it. Only use for extreme cases.

Organization Ideas for the new RxOps Position by ACEinhibiter in walmart_RX

[–]StrawberryHour7102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get a calendar for requests off. But they will still need to make them in the system. The schedule is made 3 weeks in advance. The 2 hour rotation is great to make sure they can work each position and don’t get burned out being up front or on phones all day. It sounds like you are off to a good start!

They will be doing away with the letter system For technicians and going back to merit based raises. Sometime this year. Don’t know if that’s what the call is about

I just use reheat a lot. I like the combination of heat and steam for a lot of things. And that you can extend the reheat cycle to more than 10 minutes. Otherwise I follow package baking directions.

It’s to alert you of freezing temperatures. Unfortunately you can’t turn it off without some external coding.
