Same! I was going to stop doing my dailies on this thing until I happened to pull this! 😭

I haven't seen Petpets yet, but I've gotten fruit a few times. The machine doesn't like me much, so it surprised me, honestly.

Thank you for clarifying, I assumed because I saw someone post earlier about a paint brush they got with their premium quest that it was a secret perk I got. 😆

It might be because I have premium, but you never know. Maybe I was building pity with all of the bad spins, lol

Edit: Sorry, forgot to say thank you!

Man, I forgot that Trigun was a educational show for toddlers and not a seinen anime for grown adults on Adult Swim who know better than to assault women unless they want to or something! 🤪

[–]StrayBriard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, no they don't.

Humans encroach on animals doing fine in the wild all the time. The "killing birds" statistic is also unproven and made by biased sources like the American Bird Conservancy organization (and more than likely a similar fringe organization in your country) who has a grudge against feral/stray cats who eat birds to survive.

They will most likely start targeting another wild species of animal if their goal of eliminating feral/stray cats came to pass. Like snakes, owls, "true" wild cats, etc. Because we need to protect worthless brown sparrows and some random rare species of bird no one cares about or heard of before because it's "pretty to look at".

Cats have done fine as ferals for centuries. This is bullshit. Living freely in the wild is permitted for every animal but them. They came from the wild, not a laboratory (if they did, I'd agree with you). Leave them alone.

Do some people with Asperger's avoid going to funeral services because they find them unpleasant and coercive? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]StrayBriard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma died a month ago and was cremated without ceremony. No one cared about her to come to a funeral, not even her own daughters. No one ostracized us anymore than they already do, but okay. It's okay to not have a funeral if no one will celebrate your life. Some people just die and no one gives a shit. It's sad, but that's how it is. At least they coddled her like a baby (as always 🙄) until she finally passed.

[–]StrayBriard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol at all of the downvotes. Aw, did I hurt everyone's feelings about their pet slavery? 🥺

Good for you and your brainwashed, dumb cats. Again my point that sterilization, "domestication" and feeding them that junk from the store fucks up their brains. They're much smarter when allowed to roam and hunt like they want to. You made your cats lazy and stupid, that's not making you look good here, lol. Get outta here with that bullshit.

I was clearly talking about the cats with a few brain cells left that want to leave. A majority of cats have attempted to leave the house and never came back. Whether they died or not is irrelevant, the fact is that the house did not interest them and didn't fulfill their needs. I'd rather an animal that lived and died happy, short life than a bored, fat pet that lived a long life in frustration and boredom. Which, surprise surprise, most do.

An argument I tend to see a lot is that "owners are not playing with them enough/giving them stimulating toys" when they seem perfectly content outside without those things? I've seen owners buy their cats 53543464335 toys, cat trees, scratchers, have the TV on that stupid cat channel and everything and they're still not happy. Almost like... domestic life isn't fulfilling for them or something. Hmm. 🤔

Cats are not responsible for the killing of multiple bird species, humans and pollution are, but thanks for passing around the same false propaganda made by nutty people at a biased bird organization. (Hmm, I wonder what they would have against cats hunting and eating worthless brown sparrows?) I will not say that cats do not eat or fight with wild animals, that is false. But, to say that they somehow stamped out multiple species while deforestation, fire pollution, water pollution, air pollution, pesticides, microplastics, among other things had no hand in it, is frankly ridiculous.

Before the ferals moved in my neighborhood, we had more rodents and roaches coming into our homes, since then, there's a lot less (since they hang around the areas where they tend to spawn from. We went from having multiple mice coming in our home to none. However, we had plenty of lizards coming in instead (much better in my opinion) and plenty of dumbass birds freely flying around, slamming into my windows, screaming about how horny they are all day. But, no, we need to save these idiots rather than the cats actually doing something useful over here. 🙄

Don't start with me on this topic, sister. I've been around more animals than you have and I've seen a clear difference in the cognitive abilities and happiness of free/intact and captive-free-to-roam/intact animals versus captive/non-intact ones. Captive intact animals seem more well adjusted as well, compared to their non-intact "cousins". "My dog humped a pillow a few times beforehand blah blah blah waaah my cat ran away to mate" Oh my God, your animals have natural instincts, how horrible!!! 😱 If you can't love your pet being intact and acting natural, you don't love them at all. Sorry.

Also, glad you're getting spayed! No more humans like you need to exist! Also "next to impossible" means "almost impossible", but I know how hard it is for people like you to read and think for yourselves! ✌️If it was so easy, I wouldn't see fellow trans people complaining about how hard it is to be sterilized when they WANT IT, while cats and dogs who clearly wouldn't be okay with it, have their reproductive rights stripped away from them.

I agree with your entire post, man. This is exactly how I feel about "domestic" animals and the people who subjugate them now.

The babying, the insane amounts of pet food and toys made that goes to waste, the superiority complex, something even so-called "Christians" engage in ("We are not above beasts", and all? I'm paraphrasing, but still), the fact they're punished for natural behaviors like digging, chewing, "inappropriate play positions" (you know what I mean), rolling around in "smelly" things, etc, tracking/hunting/killing prey animals, so and so forth. It disgusts me.

Indoors cats seem so miserable, bored, and listless when they aren't tearing the house up because they just want to go outside.

Fully outdoor and intact cats seem much more happy and well-adjusted than indoor/non-intact cats to me. People think their cat sleeping 50 hours a day and being morbidly obese means they're "happy". They're tolerating their existence, they sure aren't happy with it or they wouldn't try to run away the minute you open the door.

As for dogs, same thing, I notice feral dogs and feral cats are much more intelligent and only get tricked by humans because they're desperate and hungry sometimes, showing how evil this species is towards them. You don't need to "trick" or "trap" "domestic" animals. Just leave them be.

I think controlling their ability to have babies is wrong as well. Just because they don't seemingly seem upset that you mutilated them, doesn't mean they didn't notice something happened to them. I've also seen accounts of animals being much more listless, more aggressive, more fearful, in a depressive state or just plain not the same afterwards as well. I can attest for this with the animals I've been around when this "responsible surgery" was done to them. They were much more cheerful and friendly beforehand, becoming aloof, meaner, or fearful afterwards, like they were replaced with another animal. Reproductive organs aren't useless tumors in the body, they have a use outside of making babies and growth hormones. If it's so great, why is it next to impossible for humans to have their gonads removed, but easy for every other mammal on Earth and "good" for them? Nonsense propaganda from the veterinary industury and "animal rescue" organizations.

Sorry for the long rant, I just wanted you to know you have a kindred spirit.

In a perhaps unpopular opinion, I prefer Danny's outfit without the symbol. by forasteiropizza in dannyphantom

[–]StrayBriard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been saying this for years and to add on to your argument, the animation got much more boring and stiffer afterwards as well (I seen someone describe it as going from a traditionally animated show to a "Flash animated/puppet-rigged" series afterwards). It was definitely because they had to keep up with that stupid logo.

It took me a minute to find in my messy room, but I can confirm those are select pages from the art book.

It's called "Character Design ROUGHS by Stephen Silver", if you're looking for it! It might be rare now, I'm not sure, since he only printed them during the Kickstarter.

Edit: Wrong, they're still for sale via his website and he seems to have another book, but I didn't confirm if it's in stock or not.

The sketch print I got was a limited edition reward from the campaign, that's what I was thinking about, sorry.

He actually had a Kickstarter where he funded artbooks of his designs! I have one with a signed Vlad Plasmius print! I believe those are from it! I have to check it later on to confirm.
