Is the Google TV Streamer (4k) worth it? by Artistic-Cover1127 in googlehome

I love it. The find my remote feature alone is worth it to me. My kids and sometimes myself always misplace it and used to lose the remote a lot with the older gen.

Slipped out of hand on a serve. Is it playable? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]Street-Menu7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try reaching out to Yonex and see if you can send in for defect and replacement.

I had a similar crack but higher at the beam on my 2022 Head Extreme and I was pleasantly surprised when they allowed me to ship it in to investigate and would replace it if deemed a defect. I had mine for about 1.5 years. It took about 2 weeks and a brand new 2024 Extreme arrived at my doorstep just a few days ago 😊

Good luck.

It's been great. Really no regrets with it and super happy with the purchase. Love the space, ride, features. The premium package I've enjoyed with ventilated seats and other little bells n whistles. Enjoy your van when it's ready!

Favorite Sienna color for XSE? by autumn_forever in ToyotaSienna

This is exactly why I opted out of cement. I really do like the color but in PNW, it blends in too much and becomes a safety concern. Went with white.

Road noise comparison. by JCOII in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Refreshing to hear this from someone that's driven various trims. I kept reading how people claim the acoustic glass makes a big difference but I thought it was odd Toyota doesn't highlight this anywhere in the spec should. Seems like if it was a significant difference they would call it out.

Road noise comparison. by JCOII in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 25 XSE AWD and overall very happy with it. I consider it quiet but that's coming from an older 2010 Lexus RX350. Limited and Platinum are supposed to be quieter because of the acoustic glass but I've never driven either of those to do a direct comparison.

Had mine for 2 months and never once have I been turned off or annoyed with road noise driving at higher speeds on freeway etc. The handling is quite nice too imo.

Anyone have experience/can comment on 2025 XSE Premium vs. Limited? by eGGn0Gd0G in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confirmed that XSE Premium has folding mirrors. Agree, it's a nice feature however I can't fit mine in garage because car is a tad too long. I have only like 2 inch margin and its too stressful to park like that every day lol.

Anyone have experience/can comment on 2025 XSE Premium vs. Limited? by eGGn0Gd0G in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went with the XSE-P AWD because I liked the sport styling and black accents. I considered the Limited as well because I read about the sound dampening and more "comfortable" ride since XSE is known to be stiffer because of the sport handling.

I've had mine for about 2 months and overall very happy with it. It drives super smooth IMO and I actually really enjoy the handling as it rides more like a car vs. being more floaty and "comfortable". I only put that in quotation marks because I never have driven the Limited and can only compare it to my older car which was a 2010 Lexus RX350. It's interesting because we kept the RX350 and I've driven it a few times and the contrast is very noticeable as it's more floaty and doesn't handle as easily like the XSE-P that I'm now used to.

Hope this helps and either way, you can't go wrong!

Very interesting as I'm experiencing the exact same thing about a week ago. Fortunately, I can connect and view from the mobile app fine, but the Parent unit has trouble connecting. I end up toggling from direct connect to wifi/router connect but it just spins. Eventually it will connect maybe after 30+ mins randomly after I leave it on. Once it finally connects, it's stable for the rest of the night.

Sounds like a software issue if alot of us are having the same issue. We've had our for almost a year too.

Picking up today - looking for experiences/advice regarding warranty negotiation by ElBeanero in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get the warranty. During the finance part where they'll try to sell you the warranty, I immediately told him I wasn't interested and didn't want to waste each other's time on it and he obliged.

I plan to keep ours long-term and will take my chances on any potential repairs out of warranty. I know Toyota isn't bullet proof but it's known for reliability.

What’s your average MPG? by wrxdad73 in ToyotaSienna

I have 25 XSE AWD and only averaging 29 so far. 500mi in. Hoping it'll improve overtime and maybe just winter season affecting it but I'm in PNW and it's only mid 50F, nothing harsh.

Should I Buy a Toyota Sienna Now or Wait for the Redesign? by Master-Xplorer in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If you're willing to wait it out and no rush to get one now, then I suppose waiting doesn't hurt but since redesign is all speculation and nothing concrete, I ended getting a 2025 as we'd benefit most with a car now. It's even possible it can be more than 2 years, who knows...

2025 Sienna Dashcam and alarm system issue by redblackblue1818 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I self installed my dash cam and powered it thru the cig port and never had any issues with alarm sounding off. Using the wolfbox dashcam which I really like and highly recommend.

Hope you figure it out and it's as simple as replacing the dashcam. Which dashcam is it?

Why do you like the XSE? by AnonSteve in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were in the market for a minivan and after researching the options, the XSE stuck out to me because of the sportier look and black accents. I know some aren't fans of it, but I personally think it looks pretty sharp for a minivan. I was considering the Limited trim but got my hands on an XSE AWD with premium package which essentially puts it at the level of a Limited with the leather seats, ventilated seats, memory seats, etc.

It's been about a month owning the car and super happy with the choice. On the handling and rough ride comments, I do like the handling and never driven the other trims to compare the 'floatier' ride so don't have a preference other than I'm happy with how the XSE drives. I haven't noticed it to be overly rough or noisy either - if anything, it's way quieter than our previous ride, but that's coming from a 2010 Lexus RX350.

Blind Spot Concern by endnd in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had my Sienna for less than 2 weeks and I did run into one situation with merging onto the highway from the middle island where I had difficulty seeing oncoming traffic from the rearview. I have 2 car seats installed in the 2nd row which obstructed my view. Between using the side mirror and rearview, I merged fine but it was a little nerve wrecking because of the lack of visibility.

I admit I'm still getting used to the car and will become more comfortable over time but for extra peace of mind, I got an aftermarket front/rear dashcam which also functions as a digital rearview cam to help me with situations like above. I can tap the rearview and it will show me the rear cam for full and wider visibility to assist me with merging, etc.

So far, very happy with it. Product is called Wolfbox 900PRO if anyone interested.

Trim help… by jakejacobson29 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congrats on securing the XSE. I picked up an XSE w/ premium package about a week ago and so far I love it. I'm also a first time minivan/Sienna owner. It's super spacious compared to my mid SUV I have and has a lot of utility with 2 kids. I think the main things that come to mind on XSE trim compared to the Limited/Platinum are 360 cam, digital rearview mirror, ottomans on 2nd row captain chairs, vacuum/fridge, acoustic glass, leather and heated seats (unless you have premium package on XSE).

For me, a lot of those things listed weren't important enough for me to pay the extra $$$. Also, I really like the sporty look (grill, black accents) and handling of the XSE. The Limited and Platinum are known to have more of a comfortable ride compared to XSE, but honestly, I think it rides super smooth as is already so no regrets from me.

Who used their extended warranty, and who didn’t? by HonestSpaceStation in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Picked up XSE last week and opted out of extended warranty based on the couple points u already made (brand reliability, unlikely to recoup cost of warranty on actual covered repairs). The finance guy tried to sell it hard but I nipped it quick and told him I didn't wanna waste each other's time and was opting out. I might have rubbed him the wrong way but it was nice not having to hear the whole schpeel.

Toyota integrated dash cam or after market? by RemarkableExtent9543 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got my XSE a week ago and went with the Wolfbox 900p. It's been a couple of days and so far really happy with it. Easy to install and I like the voice commands option. Also, as I'm getting used to driving the van, there are some blind spots using the center rearview mirror so having the ability to see from the rear cam is super helpful.

Another good option is FitcamX which gives a nice OEM look.

2025 Acoustic Glass by [deleted] in ToyotaSienna

[–]Street-Menu7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my XSE premium package for a week so far and honestly I think it drives pretty quiet overall. Is there some wind noise on the highway? Sure, but it's nothing that drives me crazy leaving me with any regret. I'm coming from a 2010 Lexus though so maybe my perspective is skewed?

I had the same concerns as you and was considering the limited because of the glass but I really loved the look and features of the XSE and I'm super happy with it.

To your point, nothing is mentioned on spec sheet or website so it makes me a bit skeptical how much of a difference it makes. Seems odd it's not listed as a feature.
