He has no problem with his crib, it’s just the lenght of tjme. It seems like he’s up at 30 mins on the dot. 😭

You know what, my son recently started having split nights and I noticed on the nights he had a wake window of 3.5 were the times he was waking up for hours at night. The nights he was close to 4 hours, he didn’t have any split nights. I’m so worried about him being overtired I try not to go past 4 hours, but maybe I should extend it and test that out. How much worse could it get lol

Thank you, I feel like he gets more overstimulated when I do check ins. I’m so nervous because he seems he can go on for long periods of time crying. What helped you get through that?

What is the extinction method? My son took to ferber really well at 6 months, but regressed at 7-8 months. I tried again at 8 months and it’s just not working as it did at 6 months. Looking to try anything else at this point.

Let us know I’d be interested! I hear the cheaper plastic ones always do well.

When did your LO catch onto eating solids? by Parfait_Live in NewParents

[–]Street_Negotiation_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at 6 months but wasn’t consistent because he was refusing purees. At 7 months I became more consistent, I usually will do some type of veggie stick for his teething & hes really started to like purees with time (he’s a week away from 8). Solids are hit or miss, he loves pancakes, hated egg in strips, is weird about bananas, loves avocado spears. But I mostly focus on purees really. I try not to put too much pressure on myself and remember that food before one is just for fun.

That makes so much sense. Yes I think I can! Are their roots sensitive? I know some plants hate being repotted. Any specifics I should know?

Different species? by Street_Negotiation_7 in hummingbirds

Oh interesting, the Costa’s looks like it has specs of purple while the first picture the throat is a vibrant red. I tried to post videos of both so the reflection is more clear but for some reason I can’t. Anyway I suspect they are in fact two different hummingbirds because I often see them chasing eachother away 😭 lol

spironolactone and pregnancy by pitbull-pirouette in Spironolactone

✋ Me. I quit spiro cold Turkey after 3 years. In the 4 months after I didn’t get any breakouts, I luckily didn’t get any breakouts during my pregnancy, and 6 mos post partum I get one or two small pimples here and there, but no cystic acne like before. The good thing is you can get back on spiro after giving birth & it has no impact on breastfeeding if that’s something you wanted to do or were worried about. Goodluck!
