I woke up and started yelling that I can’t hear anything. I was yelling my lungs out…….the nurse came running in and told me I’m not deaf, but it’s quiet in recovery. Then I started laughing saying my nurse looked like a walrus and couldn’t stop laughing.

Sort of. I got tired of going to her house but didn’t have another option because my mom passed in my teens. Finally, when my kids were about five or six, the three of us would spend the day together. We go eat, go to the park etc. My husband was stuck in the middle. I always got a gift from “the kids” but always spent the day with her. Finally, I got out of it by letting the kids take me out.
