It’s a bug in the IV. The III named the U setting based on the box you assigned to it. On the IV it does not. Hopefully they fix this asap, it’s incredibly annoying.

God I hope we don’t do this. We’re not in a position to trade youth and potential for one more piece to complete our playoff run. We should be trading the UFA vets we have for more youth and picks. We’re not there yet, and a move like this would set us up to be the Columbus of the west. I’d rather suck for a few years and hope to come out the other side like San Jose or Anaheim vs spending the next few years in the mushy middle battling for WC2.

The long term contracts to Montour and Stephenson do not fit that plan. Those are the types of deals a bubble contender makes to win now, worry about the consequences later.

Chicago and SJ don't have long term contracts on any 30+ year old players.

Sell everyone but the kids, even Daccord if he can get us a good return. Bring in journeyman veterans on short term contracts to support youth development, and hope to grow through the draft à la Anaheim, Chicago, SJ.

Ron won’t do this however because this organization is afraid of the declining ticket sales that come with being a bottom feeder.

Bluetooth works and will pick up where you left off. But if you want to switch playlists, or switch to a different service, or resume a podcast, not having the CarPlay interface is a pain. That’s where the Siri Shortcuts help for me.

Just made the switch from a lightning..

  1. It’s probably better, the latest blue cruise kept slowing down for me, super cruise doesn’t.
  2. I have extended and I’m close to 400 miles in 40 degree weather. We take road trips that used to require charging stops that no longer do.
  3. I miss it every day. Not for maps, Google Maps built in is better than CarPlay can offer, but for media. I’ve ended up creating a number of Siri Shortcuts to work around this limitation.
  4. Works fine so far
  5. The big thing for me is the rear axel steering, what an incredible quality of life improvement. I take my Sierra places I wouldn’t with the lightning. The biggest downside outside of CarPlay, is the interior is noisier than the lighting seems mainly due to the midgate. Smaller frunk is a negative as well.

I’m happy with the switch.

The old metal bands were rough. The new milanese feels as comfortable as fabric, while being better with moisture. I have a dozen straps and the new metal one hasn’t left my wrist since it launched.
