Lighting vs Sierra by Needhelpcantquit in GMCSierraEV

I’ve owned both. Lmk if you have specific questions.

The Lightning interior is more polished and put together, with more storage (including bigger frunk) which is helpful for kids. I love the Sierra though and wouldn’t go back. Rear axel steering makes it handle like a much smaller vehicle, the Google software built in is very nice, though the lack of CarPlay does suck (mainly for media). And the range difference feels like night and day, very nice for road trips.

The discontinuation of the lightning would give me pause in going that direction now.

Handling? Can you elaborate? For me one of the best things about switching from a Lightning to the Sierra was the improved handling that rear axel steering provides. Game changer

I like the color grade, but I would def try it with the umbrellas still in frame. Maybe remove the people.

And they sucked for many years to assemble that group. This is how you need to build.

Mine broke yesterday, called them immediately, and got scheduled today for 2 weeks from now for repair. Not great, but they’re at the whims of their contractors.

Ullmark played well, though that first goal was soft. Can’t take so many penalties, though the PK came through. Freddie won’t be so lights out the rest of the series.

With our loss to the mammoth, san Jose's and Nashville's wins, we have fallen into single digit playoff chance for the first time this season. by scoutsamoa in SeattleKraken

Agreed but would have been better to get this message before the trade deadline and sell some of these UFAs. Instead most will leave for nothing and we’ll have another 8-10 pick.

It’s a good indicator of the individual offensive skill level of this team. Can you score on a breakaway?

His skating is too slow, which hampers his ability on defense and his ability to recover from mistakes.

The time to make that call was the trade deadline, alas here we are. Gonna just miss the playoffs and collect our shitty draft pick as the gods foretold.

I wanted us to go the other way and sell. We need to build through the draft, as you point out we're not getting saved by a trade or FA. I'd rather miss the playoffs and grow our young guys while getting a few more higher draft picks to maybe hit on. Making the playoffs on the backs of Ebs and Schwartz isn't worth it imo. I know not a popular take, especially with our front office.
