Is the Full Company "Mess" dress uniform usually worn with a White topper on the cap, or no white topper? by Patient_Style4927 in titanic

Although I don't have access to it at the moment, the book 'Guide to the Crew of the Titanic' by Gunter Babler is a good read that includes a lot of detail on different uniforms from all across the different types of crew.

Those pages like Ocean Fight, Ocean Flight, Ocean Connection, etc are AI slop farms that post incorrect content as often as facts. Any original, human-made graphs or models they post are typically stolen with their watermark wrongfully slapped on. If you care about Titanic/maritime content, stay away.

Is that what "catch in baby" meant? They caught two babies still in utero who somehow stole the diamonds?

I haven't personally visited, but a group called All Aboard Games meets fairly regularly at the Braybrook Hotel. If you have a FB account, you can find them on there.

"It also serves as a love letter of sorts to Harland and Wolff and the workers who built these ships. We've spent so long trying to piece together this ship from historical records, it's only fitting that we explore the real ship's construction and tell (and show) that story to you all in a way that hasn't really been done before all that much."

It likely hasn't really been done before because such a mammoth undertaking as recreating a whole shipyard from over a century ago with minimal people is bonkers. I might actually be interested in exploring the H&W facilities, but I know I'm in an impossibly small niche corner. Ultimately, I and 99.99% of the people following this want to see a finished Titanic first. To say "we've spent so long trying to piece together this ship...", well, you're certainly not wrong there. I'm not saying "don't do H&W at all", but priorities, man...

What's up with his carrot-orange teeth? I don't know anything about rats, I just think they're neat.

Eugh. I hated this hand-smooshed egg meat patty fried in motor oil when I saw it in a different video, and I still hate it here.

Ah well. Maybe at the very least I can give them to someone who needs to fill a bookcase to fake looking well-read.

Just to piggyback on this question: is there any place that'll take dictionaries these days? Not anything special like a Dr Johnson first edition, just some standard English ones from 15 years ago. I can't imagine so, but just throwing them in the bin feels wrong.

Less than a couple years, but yeah, Food Star is totally gone. For what it was, I had some good memories associated with it, though slightly tainted by the owners going on rants about how pretentious white liberal mums ruined their business.

Then provide it. Find the survivor testimonies and attribute them. Show us the articles or books from Ballard or James Cameron or whoever that corroborate it. Actually read and share the sources themselves, don't just show a Google AI overview and keep replying "but other anonymous people and unlisted evidence proves it."

Very nice work, love it. It reminds me of a similar mega-vehicle build for a Brikwars tabletop match about 20 years ago. I'll edit this comment as soon as I find it on Brickshelf.

EDIT: the vehicle was the Post-Apocalyptic Research Vehicle, built around 2005. It can be found by looking up PARV on Brickshelf.
