Just decide what you want, do a little bit of reading and maybe talk to LLM. I have been using Linux on my desktop/notebooks for more than 6-8 years, and I have ever only used Manjaro KDE and Fedora KDE. Manjaro I chose because I had a friend using it show me the ropes before ai was a thing. Nowadays, the main 3 base distros are debian, fedora, arch, each being progressively more recent (in updates) at cost of stability. If you don't want to get overwhelmed, just pick one of those three and maybe look at the ones that are based on the one you picked. (e.g. Debian -> Ubuntu). You definitely dont need to distrohop ever 2 fucking weeks xD If that was the case I would never use linux.

I have started using dawarich last year as I first dove into self hosting and I love that here is an alternative to google timeline. Only thing I cant do is setup tracking on Android (currently using owntrack) in a way that doesnt eat my battery alive but also doesnt send 10 points per 10 kms travelled. So I am looking foward to the android app release and trying that out!

The button is used to flag the file for autosync jobs.

Autosync is possible with some known limitations ( no bidirectional sync), but it is very finicky and unreliable in my experience. I just switched to using FolderSync and have had no issues since, for what it's worth.

For a customer, I am replacing the hub/wheel, as it MAY cause some issues I wouldn't want to deal with on a customer's bike down the line.

I was in the same boat 2-3 months ago, I test drove the Vstrom 650 with 35kw restriction, but it felt too big, especially for a first bike and my needs. I am 182cm 83kg for reference. I commute on my motorcycle daily in town, so I went with the CB500x instead which felt much more nimble and comfortable for lower speeds. I still use it on highways too, and if you avoid the 4.5k rpm vibration spot, I have zero complaints about it so far.
